Man, today was a wild ride in Aomori! Like, I woke up thinking it’d be just another chill day, but boy, was I wrong. First off, I hit up the local coffee shop on Chuo-dori. You know, the one with the cute barista? Yeah, she totally forgot my order. I mean, c’mon! I’m not asking for a unicorn latte, just a regular joe! So, I’m standing there, tapping my foot, and I’m like, “Dude, I need caffeine!” Finally, she hands me this cup, and I’m like, “Thanks, but I ordered it black, not a sugar bomb!” Whatever, I chugged it anyway. Then I decided to stroll down to Aomori Bay. The view? Stunning! The water was glistening like diamonds. I swear, I could’ve written a whole album right there. But then, outta nowhere, this seagull swoops down and snatches my sandwich! Like, really? I’m just trying to enjoy my lunch, and you gotta be a thief? I was so mad, I almost threw my guitar at it. After that, I wandered over to the Aomori Museum of Art. Man, that place is dope! They had this exhibit with these crazy colorful paintings. I was vibin’ hard, feeling all artsy. But then, I overheard this couple arguing about art. Like, chill, it’s just paint on a canvas! I wanted to jump in and be like, “Yo, it’s not that deep!” But I just kept my mouth shut. Next, I hit up the famous Aomori Nebuta Matsuri. OMG, the floats were insane! They were like giant, glowing monsters. I was snapping pics like a tourist. I even tried to join in the dance, but I tripped over my own feet. Classic me, right? Everyone laughed, and I just laughed along. Gotta own it, ya know? Then, I met this dude named Kenji. He was super chill and played the shamisen. We jammed together for a bit. I was on my guitar, and he was just killing it. The vibe was electric! We were just two random musicians in the middle of Aomori, making magic happen. But then, out of nowhere, it started pouring! Like, seriously, the sky just opened up. I was soaked in seconds. I was like, “Great, just what I needed!” But Kenji was all, “Let’s keep playing!” So, we did. We played in the rain like a couple of rockstars. It was epic! After the rain, the streets were all shiny and fresh. I walked down to the Aomori Fish Market. The smell? Oh man, it was a mix of heaven and... well, fish. I grabbed some fresh sashimi. It was so good, I almost cried. Like, how can something taste that amazing? As the sun set, I found myself on the Hakkoda Mountains. The view was breathtaking. I sat there, guitar in hand, strumming away. I felt so alive. Aomori, you’ve got my heart! But then, I realized I lost my wallet. Panic mode activated! I was running around like a headless chicken. I retraced my steps, and finally found it at the coffee shop. Phew! I was ready to kiss the barista, but I held back. So, yeah, Aomori was a rollercoaster today. From coffee disasters to jam sessions in the rain, it was a day full of surprises. I’m exhausted but so grateful. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
