Man, what a day in Biei! Seriously, I’m still buzzing from all the craziness. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit up the famous Patchwork Road. You know, the one that looks like a freakin’ painting? Fields everywhere, all those colors. I’m snapping pics like a tourist on steroids. But then, bam! My phone dies. Like, really? I’m in the middle of a postcard scene, and my phone’s like, “Nah, I’m out.” Ugh! So, I’m wandering around, trying to soak it all in. I stroll down Kawai Street, and I see this cute little café. I’m thinking, “Coffee time!” I order a latte, and the barista is super chill. We start chatting about the lavender fields. He’s like, “You gotta see them in July.” I’m like, “Dude, I’m here now!” But he’s all, “Trust me, it’s worth it.” I’m like, “Fine, I’ll come back.” Then, I head over to the Blue Pond. OMG, it’s unreal! The water is this insane blue. I’m standing there, just staring, and I swear I can hear angels singing. But then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by, slips, and splashes water all over me. I’m soaked! I’m laughing, but also kinda mad. Like, come on, kid! After that, I’m walking down the main street, and I see this sign for a local festival. I’m like, “Heck yeah!” I follow the sounds of drums and laughter. Turns out, it’s a food festival. I’m in heaven! I try some local specialties—like, what’s that dish called? Oh yeah, Biei’s famous potato croquettes. They’re crispy, golden, and just melt in your mouth. I’m in love. But then, I see this guy juggling fire. I’m like, “Dude, chill! You’re gonna burn the place down!” But he’s all about it, and the crowd’s loving it. I’m standing there, half-eating my croquette, half-watching this dude almost set his hair on fire. It’s wild! Then, I get a text from my buddy. He’s like, “Where you at?” I’m like, “Dude, I’m in Biei, living my best life!” He’s all, “Send pics!” I’m like, “My phone’s dead, remember?” So, I’m trying to explain the beauty of Biei without pics. It’s tough, man. As the sun starts to set, I’m walking back to my car, and I can’t help but feel grateful. Biei is just... magical. The hills, the flowers, the people. I mean, I even met this old lady who told me about the history of the area. She was so sweet, and her stories were like a warm hug. But then, I get to my car, and guess what? I locked my keys inside. Classic move, right? I’m standing there, laughing at my own stupidity. I mean, who does that? So, I call a locksmith, and while I’m waiting, I just sit on the curb, watching the world go by. Finally, the locksmith shows up, and he’s super chill. He gets me in, and I’m like, “Thanks, man! You’re a lifesaver!” I drive home, still buzzing from the day. Biei, you’ve got my heart. Can’t wait to come back and see those lavender fields! So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups, downs, and a whole lotta Biei love. Can’t wait for the next adventure!
