Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a bodyguard in Ena is like a rollercoaster ride, but without the safety bar. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s blazin’, birds chirpin’, and I’m thinkin’, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. First off, I’m cruisin’ down the streets of Ena, and lemme tell ya, these streets are wild. You got the narrow alleys of Kōen-dōri, where you can barely fit a bike, let alone a car. And then there’s the main drag, Ena’s pride, the Route 19. It’s packed with shops, food stalls, and people just livin’ their best lives. I’m just tryin’ to keep my cool, but the vibe is electric. So, I’m on duty for this local celeb, right? Some pop star who’s got more fans than sense. We hit up this café on Kōen-dōri, and it’s packed. I’m standin’ there, lookin’ tough, but inside I’m like, “Please don’t let anyone freak out.” And guess what? Someone freaks out. This girl, probably 16, starts screamin’ like she’s seen a ghost. Turns out, she just dropped her boba tea. I mean, c’mon! It’s just a drink! But nah, she’s wailin’ like it’s the end of the world. I’m tryin’ to calm her down, but she’s not havin’ it. I’m thinkin’, “Girl, it’s Ena, not a horror movie!” After that chaos, we head to the Ena Castle Park. Beautiful spot, right? Cherry blossoms everywhere, people takin’ selfies. I’m thinkin’, “Finally, some peace.” But nope! The pop star decides to take a stroll. Fans swarm like bees to honey. I’m pushin’ through the crowd, tryin’ to keep her safe, and I’m like, “Why do I even do this?” Then, outta nowhere, this dude shoves a camera in my face. I’m like, “Bro, back off!” But he’s all up in my grill, and I’m about to lose it. I mean, c’mon, I’m just tryin’ to do my job! I finally get him to back off, but not before I drop a few choice words. After that, we hit up a local izakaya on Shimozato Street. I’m starving, right? I order some yakitori, and it’s like heaven on a stick. I’m munchin’ away, and the pop star’s laughin’ with her crew. I’m thinkin’, “This is nice.” But then, bam! A guy trips and spills his drink all over me. I’m soaked! I’m fumin’, but I can’t lose my cool. I just laugh it off, but inside I’m like, “Dude, really?” I mean, it’s Ena, not a water park! As the day goes on, we hit up the Ena City Museum. I’m tryin’ to enjoy the exhibits, but I’m still on high alert. You never know when a fan might go rogue. I’m lookin’ at this ancient pottery, and I’m thinkin’, “Man, this stuff is older than my grandma.” Finally, we wrap up the day. I’m exhausted, but I can’t help but smile. Ena’s got this charm, ya know? The mix of old and new, the energy of the streets, the food—oh man, the food! I’m ready to crash, but I can’t stop thinkin’ about all the craziness. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, spills and thrills. Ena, you wild! But I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Just another day in the life of a bodyguard, right?
