Man, today was a wild ride in Inazawa! Like, I woke up thinking it’d be just another chill day, but boy, was I wrong. First off, I hit up the local konbini on Kōen-dōri for my morning fix. You know, the usual onigiri and some matcha. But guess what? They were outta my fave flavor! Ugh, I was like, “Seriously?!” So, I grabbed a random one. It was tuna mayo. Not bad, but not what I wanted. Anyway, I strolled down to Inazawa Park. It’s a nice spot, right? Cherry blossoms everywhere, but they’re kinda done for the season. Still pretty tho. I sat on a bench, just chillin’, when this kid runs by, tripping over his own feet. Classic! I laughed so hard, I almost choked on my onigiri. Then, outta nowhere, it started pouring! Like, what the heck, weather? I sprinted to the nearest shelter, which happened to be a little café on Kōen-dōri. I ducked in, soaked but laughing. The barista was super chill, though. He handed me a hot coffee and said, “You look like you need this.” I was like, “You have no idea, man.” So, I’m sitting there, sipping my coffee, and I overhear this convo about the Inazawa Festival coming up. I’m like, “Wait, what?!” I totally forgot about it! It’s supposed to be epic, with food stalls and performances. I’m already drooling thinking about the yakitori. After the rain stopped, I decided to explore. I wandered down to the Inazawa City Hall area. It’s kinda boring, but I found this cute little shop selling handmade crafts. I picked up a quirky keychain. It’s a cat wearing a samurai helmet. Totally random, but I love it! Then, I hit up the Inazawa Castle ruins. Not much left, but the view from the top is sick! I snapped a few pics for the ‘gram. You know, gotta show off my adventures. But then, I got a bit lost trying to find my way back. I ended up on some random street, and I swear, it felt like a scene from a horror movie. I finally found my way back to the main street, and guess what? I bumped into an old friend! We hadn’t seen each other in ages. We ended up grabbing dinner at this izakaya on Kōen-dōri. The food was bomb! We laughed about old times and how we used to hang out at Inazawa’s riverbank. But then, the night took a turn. I got a text from my boss. Apparently, I messed up a report. I was like, “Are you kidding me?!” I mean, it was a long day, and now this? I was fuming. But my friend was like, “Chill, it’s just work.” Easier said than done, right? After dinner, I decided to walk it off. I strolled along the river, and it was so peaceful. The moon was shining, and the water was glistening. I took a deep breath and tried to let go of the stress. Inazawa, man. It’s got its quirks. The streets, the people, the food. It’s a mix of chaos and calm. I love it. Even on a crazy day like today, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but that’s life, right? Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
