OMG, what a day! Like, seriously, I can’t even. So, I woke up in my little room on Kōen-dōri, right? The sun was shining, birds were chirping, and I thought, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I had to get my hair done. You know, the whole Maiko thing. I’m talking about those crazy hairstyles with all the flowers and stuff. I’m sitting there at the salon on Kōen-dōri, and my stylist, Yuki, is like, “Hold still!” But I’m like, “Yuki, I gotta pee!” 😂 She just laughs and keeps curling my hair. Ugh, the struggle is real. After that, I had to rush to the market on Kōen-dōri. It’s this super busy place, full of vendors selling everything from fresh fish to weird snacks. I was on a mission to grab some mochi. You know, the good stuff. But then, outta nowhere, this old lady bumps into me. I spill my matcha latte all over my kimono! Like, seriously?! I was so mad! I mean, who does that? But then, I saw this cute little cat just chilling by the fish stall. I couldn’t help but smile. Cats make everything better, right? I named him “Sushi.” 😂 I was like, “Sushi, you’re my new best friend.” So, I finally got my mochi and headed to the park. It’s called Kaizuka Park, and it’s beautiful. Cherry blossoms everywhere! I was just sitting there, enjoying my mochi, when I overheard this couple arguing. Like, full-on shouting! I was like, “Dude, keep it down! I’m trying to enjoy my snack here!” Then, out of nowhere, it started to rain. I mean, come on! I just got my hair done! I was so annoyed. I ran to the nearest café on Kōen-dōri, and guess what? They had the best matcha cake ever! I was like, “Okay, universe, you’re forgiven.” While I was munching on my cake, I met this guy named Kenji. He was super chill and funny. We started talking about Kaizuka and how it’s like this hidden gem in Japan. He told me about the old temples on the outskirts of the city. I was like, “I gotta check those out!” But then, my phone buzzed. It was my boss. She was like, “Where are you? You’re late for your gig!” I freaked out! I had totally lost track of time. I dashed outta the café, tripping over my own feet. Classic me, right? I ran down Kōen-dōri, dodging people left and right. I finally made it to the teahouse, and I was like, “I’m here! I’m here!” But my boss just rolled her eyes. “You’re lucky you’re cute,” she said. I mean, I guess that’s a compliment? The performance was wild! I danced my heart out. The crowd was loving it, and I felt like a superstar. But then, halfway through, I tripped on my kimono. I was like, “Noooo!” But I just laughed it off. Gotta keep it real, right? After the show, I was exhausted but happy. I walked back home, thinking about all the craziness of the day. Kaizuka is such a vibe. It’s got this mix of old and new, and I love it. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
