Man, what a day! I’m a forester, right? So, I’m used to chillin’ in the woods, surrounded by trees and critters. But today? Oh boy, Kurobe-shi threw me a curveball. First off, I woke up late. Alarm didn’t go off. Classic! I had to rush outta my place on Kurobe’s main street, Kurobe-cho. I swear, I was half-dressed, running like a madman. I mean, who needs pants when you’re just grabbing coffee, right? So, I hit up this little café on Kurobe-cho. The barista, bless her heart, was super slow. I’m standing there, tapping my foot, thinking, “C’mon, lady! I got trees to hug!” Finally, I get my coffee, and it’s like liquid gold. But then, I spill it all over my shirt. Great. Just great. Now I look like a walking coffee stain. After that, I decided to take a stroll by the Kurobe River. It’s beautiful there, man. The water’s all sparkly, and the mountains in the background? Just wow. But then, I see this group of tourists. They’re all taking selfies, blocking the path. I’m like, “Hey, I’m trying to enjoy nature here!” But they just keep posing. Ugh! Then, I head over to the Kurobe Dam. I mean, I’ve seen it a million times, but it never gets old. The sheer size of it is mind-blowing. But today? It was packed! I couldn’t even get a good pic. I’m standing there, trying to squeeze through, and this kid bumps into me. I almost dropped my phone! I’m like, “Dude, watch it!” But he just giggles. Kids, man. So, I finally make it to the top. The view? Breathtaking. I’m standing there, feeling all zen, when suddenly, it starts to rain. Of course! Just my luck. I’m soaked in seconds. I’m laughing, though. Like, what else can you do? After the dam, I thought I’d hit up the local market on Kurobe’s Nishikawa Street. I love that place! Fresh produce, local crafts, and all that good stuff. I’m browsing, and I spot these amazing mushrooms. I’m a forester, remember? I know my fungi! I’m chatting with the vendor, and he’s telling me about this rare type. I’m all in, ready to buy, when I realize I left my wallet at home. Seriously?! So, I’m standing there, feeling like a total loser. But the vendor, he’s super chill. He just laughs and says, “Next time, buddy!” I love the people here. They’re so friendly. By now, I’m exhausted. I decide to head back home, but I take a detour through the Kurobe Park. It’s peaceful there, and I need that after the chaos. I sit on a bench, just chillin’, when I see this old man feeding the pigeons. He’s got this huge bag of bread, and the birds are going wild. I can’t help but chuckle. Then, outta nowhere, this pigeon lands on my head! I freak out! I’m flailing my arms, and the old man is cracking up. I’m like, “Dude, get your bird!” But he just keeps laughing. I mean, come on! Finally, I make it home. I’m beat, but I can’t stop smiling. Kurobe-shi, you crazy city! You’ve got me all mixed up with your wild streets and unexpected moments. I love it, though. It’s home. So, yeah, that was my day. Full of spills, thrills, and a whole lotta laughs. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
