Man, today was a wild ride in Miyoshi! Like, seriously, I can’t even. So, I woke up late, as usual. My alarm? Totally ignored it. I live near the Miyoshi River, and the view is sick, but I was too busy snoozing. Anyway, I finally rolled outta bed, threw on some clothes, and bolted out the door. First stop? The local konbini on Kawai Street. Gotta grab my morning coffee, right? But guess what? They were outta my fave blend! Ugh, I was like, “Are you kidding me?!” So, I settled for some random stuff. Not the same, but whatever. Then I hit up the Miyoshi Park. It’s this chill spot with cherry blossoms and all that. I thought, “Hey, let’s take a breather.” But nah, it was packed! Like, who knew so many peeps would be out on a Tuesday? I tried to find a bench, but they were all taken. I ended up sitting on the grass, which was damp. Great start, right? While I was there, I saw this cute dog. I mean, it was adorable! But then, this kid ran up and totally tripped over my foot. I was like, “Dude, watch it!” But he just laughed and ran off. Kids, man. They’re wild. After that, I decided to stroll down to the Miyoshi Shopping Street. It’s got all these little shops and food stalls. I was hungry, so I grabbed some takoyaki. OMG, it was so good! But then, I spilled some on my shirt. Classic me, right? I was like, “Great, now I look like a mess.” Then, outta nowhere, it started to rain. Like, seriously? I didn’t even bring an umbrella! I ducked into this little café on Kawai Street. It was cozy, but the coffee was overpriced. I mean, c’mon, it’s just coffee! But I needed to dry off, so I stayed. While I was sipping my drink, I overheard this couple arguing. It was kinda awkward, but also hilarious. The guy was like, “You never listen!” and the girl was like, “Well, maybe if you talked about something interesting!” I couldn’t help but chuckle. Finally, the rain stopped, and I thought, “Time to head home.” But as I walked back, I saw this street performer near the Miyoshi Station. He was playing the guitar and singing some J-Pop song. Honestly, he was pretty good! I dropped a few yen in his hat. Gotta support local talent, right? By the time I got home, I was exhausted. My feet hurt, my shirt was stained, and my hair was a mess. But you know what? I had a blast. Miyoshi is full of surprises, and even on a chaotic day, it’s still my favorite place. So yeah, that was my day. Crazy, right? I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Well, maybe a better coffee. But that’s it!
