Man, what a day! Oiso, you wild little town. I woke up thinking it’d be just another boring day installing radio gear. Boy, was I wrong! First off, I hit the road early. The sun was barely up, and I was cruising down Route 134. You know, that road that hugs the coast? The ocean was glistening like a million diamonds. I thought, “Damn, I could get used to this view.” But then, bam! Traffic jam. Like, seriously? It’s Oiso, not Tokyo! So, I’m stuck, right? I’m tapping my fingers on the steering wheel, listening to some old-school J-Pop. Suddenly, I see this dude on a bike zooming past. I’m like, “Bro, where’s your helmet?” But he just grins and speeds off. I’m thinking, “Must be nice to be carefree.” Finally, I get to my first job on Hayama Street. Nice little house, but the client? Total diva. She wanted her radio system to “sing” like a bird. I’m like, “Lady, it’s a radio, not a karaoke machine!” But whatever, I’m here to make it work. I start setting up, and guess what? The wires are all tangled. I’m wrestling with them like they’re a bunch of snakes. I’m sweating bullets, and she’s just watching me, sipping her green tea. I’m thinking, “Help a guy out, will ya?” But no, she’s too busy critiquing my technique. After what felt like an eternity, I finally get it working. And when that radio crackles to life? Pure magic! She’s all smiles, and I’m like, “See? Easy peasy.” But then she asks for a demo. I’m not a performer, lady! I just install stuff! Next, I head over to Oiso Beach. Man, the vibe there is unreal. Kids are playing, couples are strolling, and I’m just trying to grab a quick bite. I hit up this little food stall on Oiso Kaigan. Best takoyaki ever! I’m stuffing my face, and this seagull swoops down, trying to steal my food. I’m like, “Not today, feathered thief!” After lunch, I get a call for an emergency install on Kugenuma Street. Apparently, some guy’s radio went kaput during a beach party. I rush over, and it’s a full-on scene. People dancing, music blasting, and this dude is freaking out. I’m thinking, “Dude, chill! It’s just a radio!” I dive into the chaos, and somehow, I manage to fix it. The crowd goes wild! I’m feeling like a rockstar. They’re cheering, and I’m just standing there, soaking it all in. But then, out of nowhere, someone spills a drink on me. I’m drenched! I’m like, “Really? This is how I go out?” By the time I wrap up, I’m exhausted. I head back to my car, and guess what? I locked my keys inside. Classic move, right? I’m standing there, cursing my luck, when this old lady walks by. She just chuckles and says, “You should’ve used a spare.” Thanks, lady. Real helpful. Finally, I get home, and I’m just done. I flop on my couch, thinking about the day. Oiso, you crazy little town, you’ve got my heart racing. I love the chaos, the beauty, the unexpected. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
