Man, what a day! I woke up in Shimonoseki, and let me tell ya, it was a rollercoaster. First off, I’m in this city known for its crazy good seafood. Like, if you ain't had fugu here, are you even living? But I digress. So, I’m chillin’ at my place on Kōnan-dōri, right? Just sippin’ my coffee, scrolling through my webcam biz stuff. I’m all about that hustle, you know? But then, boom! My phone buzzes. A client wants a last-minute stream. Ugh, typical! I’m like, “Dude, can’t you plan ahead?” But whatever, I’m in. I rush outta my apartment, and it’s a beautiful day. The sun’s shining, and I’m thinking, “Maybe today won’t be so bad.” I hit up the local market on Kōbe-dōri. Man, the sights! Fresh fish everywhere, and the smell? Oh boy, it’s like heaven and hell at the same time. I grab some sushi for later. Gotta fuel up, right? Then, I’m walking down the street, and I see this street performer. He’s playing the shamisen, and it’s kinda dope. I stop for a sec, and I’m vibin’. But then, this kid runs by and knocks my sushi outta my hands! Like, seriously?! I’m standing there, mouth agape, watching my lunch roll away. I’m mad, but also kinda laughing. Kids, man. After that, I head to the waterfront. The view of the Kanmon Bridge is sick! I mean, it’s iconic. I snap a pic for the ‘gram. Gotta show off, right? But then, I see this group of tourists trying to take a selfie. They’re all crowded, and one dude’s holding a giant fish. I’m like, “Bro, that’s not how you do it!” But hey, who am I to judge? Finally, I get to my streaming spot. It’s this cozy little café on Shimonoseki’s main street. I set up my gear, and just as I’m about to go live, the power goes out! Like, are you kidding me? I’m sitting there in the dark, and I’m fuming. I’m thinking, “This is why I can’t have nice things!” But then, the lights flicker back on, and I’m like, “Okay, let’s do this!” I start my stream, and it’s going great. People are tuning in, and I’m feeling the love. I’m cracking jokes, and the chat’s lit! But then, my cat decides it’s the perfect time to jump on my keyboard. I’m like, “Noooo!” But the viewers are loving it. They’re all like, “Cat cam!” After the stream, I’m feeling pumped. I head back out, and the sun’s setting over the Kanmon Strait. It’s beautiful, man. I grab some ramen at this little joint on Hōshō-dōri. Best decision ever! The broth is rich, and I’m slurping like there’s no tomorrow. But then, I see that kid again! He’s with his mom, and he’s holding a giant ice cream cone. I’m like, “Dude, you owe me sushi!” But we both just laugh. Kids are wild, man. As I’m walking home, I can’t help but think about how crazy today was. From sushi disasters to cat chaos, Shimonoseki never fails to surprise me. I love this city, even when it drives me nuts. So yeah, that was my day. Just another wild ride in Shimonoseki. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
