Man, what a day! I woke up in Sosa, Japan, and thought, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit up the local konbini on Kōen-dōri. You know, the one with the best onigiri? Yeah, that one. I grabbed a couple of those rice balls and a can of iced coffee. I was feeling like a boss. But then, BAM! I spilled my coffee all over my sketchbook. Ugh! My designs for the new game were ruined. I was like, “Great, just great.” So, I’m walking down the street, trying to shake off the coffee disaster. Sosa’s streets are kinda narrow, but they got this charm, ya know? The little shops, the old-school vibes. I passed by the Sosa Shrine, and it hit me—this place is full of history. I mean, it’s been around since the Edo period! Crazy, right? But then, I heard this loud noise. Like, what the heck? I turn around, and there’s this group of kids playing soccer in the street. They were going wild! One kid kicked the ball, and it went straight into a nearby vending machine. I couldn’t help but laugh. I mean, who does that? After that, I decided to chill at the Sosa Park. It’s got this beautiful pond, and I thought, “Maybe I can sketch here.” But nope! The moment I sat down, a bunch of ducks waddled over. They were like, “Feed us, human!” I had no bread, so I just sat there, staring at them. They stared back. It was awkward. Then, I got a text from my buddy. He was like, “Yo, let’s hit up the arcade!” I was down, so I headed over to the Sosa Game Center. It’s got all the retro games! I’m talking about the classics. I played some Street Fighter and totally wrecked my friend. He was so mad! I was like, “Get good, bro!” But then, outta nowhere, the power went out. I’m standing there in the dark, and everyone’s freaking out. I thought it was a prank at first. But nah, it was legit. The staff was scrambling, and I was just standing there, thinking, “This is how my day goes.” Finally, the lights came back on, and I was like, “Phew!” But then, I realized I lost my wallet. I was like, “No way!” I retraced my steps, running around Sosa like a madman. I checked the konbini, the park, the arcade—nothing. I was about to lose it. Just when I thought it was over, I spotted it! My wallet was sitting on a bench at the park. I ran over, and this old lady was holding it. She smiled and said, “You dropped this, dear.” I was so relieved! I thanked her like a million times. By the time I got home, I was exhausted. I flopped onto my bed and thought, “What a rollercoaster.” Sosa, man. It’s wild. One minute you’re sipping coffee, the next you’re chasing ducks and losing wallets. But hey, that’s life, right? Tomorrow’s a new day. I’ll just try to keep my coffee away from my sketches. And maybe, just maybe, I’ll avoid the ducks.
