Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a tractor driver in Suzuka is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s blazin’, birds chirpin’, and I’m thinkin’, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit the road on my trusty ol’ tractor. I’m cruisin’ down Suzuka’s streets, like Kameyama and Yokkaichi, feelin’ like a boss. But then, BAM! Traffic jam on Route 1. I’m sittin’ there, engine rumblin’, and I’m like, “C’mon, people! It’s not rush hour!” But nope, some dude in a tiny car decides to take a selfie in the middle of the road. Like, really? You think you’re a model or somethin’? Finally, I get past that mess and head towards Suzuka Circuit. You know, the famous racetrack? I’m thinkin’ I might catch a glimpse of some sweet cars. But nah, just my luck. They’re all packed up for the day. I’m like, “Great, just great.” Then, I swing by the Suzuka Botanical Garden. Man, those flowers are gorgeous! I’m talkin’ vibrant colors, sweet smells. I stop for a sec, take a deep breath, and think, “Life ain’t so bad.” But then, I see a bunch of kids runnin’ around, and one of ‘em trips and falls right in the mud. I can’t help but laugh. Kids are hilarious! But then, outta nowhere, I get a call from my boss. “Hey, we need you to pick up some supplies from the other side of town.” Ugh, fine! So I’m zoomin’ down Suzuka’s backroads, dodgin’ potholes like I’m in a video game. I hit up the local market on Kintetsu Street. It’s packed! I’m tryin’ to squeeze my tractor through, and people are givin’ me the stink eye. Like, c’mon, I’m just tryin’ to do my job! I finally grab the supplies, but guess what? My tractor won’t start! I’m sittin’ there, sweatin’ bullets, and I’m like, “This is just perfect.” I’m bangin’ on the dashboard like it’s gonna magically fix itself. After what feels like an eternity, it roars to life. Thank you, sweet tractor gods! So, I’m back on the road, and I decide to take a detour through Suzuka’s residential areas. Man, those houses are cute! Tiny gardens, little fences, and I see this old lady feedin’ cats. I wave, and she gives me a thumbs up. That made my day, for real. But then, I hit a bump and spill half my supplies all over the road. I’m cussin’ like a sailor! “Noooo! Not the rice!” I jump out, tryin’ to salvage what I can. People are walkin’ by, laughin’ at me. I’m like, “Yeah, yeah, laugh it up!” Finally, I get everything loaded back up, and I’m thinkin’ I’m almost done. But nope! I get stuck behind a parade. A freakin’ parade! I’m sittin’ there, tractor idling, watchin’ floats go by. There’s a giant sushi roll float, and I’m like, “I’d rather be eatin’ that than sittin’ here!” After what feels like forever, the parade clears out. I’m finally on my way back. I’m exhausted, but I can’t help but smile. Suzuka’s got its quirks, but it’s home. I pull into my driveway, and I’m like, “What a day!” So yeah, that was my wild ride in Suzuka. Full of ups, downs, and a whole lotta laughs. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
