Man, what a day in Tagawa! Seriously, I’m still reeling from it. Woke up thinking it’d be just another boring day, but nah, life had other plans. So, I’m a Mourner, right? Sounds heavy, I know. But today? Today was a rollercoaster. First off, I hit up the local konbini on Kōen-dōri. Grabbed my usual onigiri and a can of that sweet, sweet melon soda. Best breakfast ever, no cap. Then, I’m walking down the street, and boom! I see this old lady struggling with her groceries. I’m like, “Yo, let me help ya!” She’s all smiles, and I’m feeling like a hero. But then, she starts telling me her life story. I mean, I’m all for helping, but I didn’t sign up for a TED Talk. She’s talking about her cat, Taro, and how he once chased a crow. I’m just nodding, trying not to zone out. After that, I head over to the Tagawa City Hall. Gotta pay my respects, you know? But the line is insane! Like, I could’ve watched a whole season of my fave show in that time. People are grumbling, and I’m just standing there, thinking, “Why is this taking forever?” Finally, I get in, and the clerk is super chill. We start chatting about the local festivals. I’m like, “Dude, the Tagawa Matsuri is lit!” He agrees, and we bond over our love for the food stalls. I mean, who doesn’t love yakitori and takoyaki? But then, outta nowhere, this guy bursts in, yelling about a lost dog. I’m like, “What?!” Turns out, it’s a little Shiba Inu named Mochi. Everyone’s suddenly on a mission. We’re all running around the streets of Tagawa, calling out for Mochi. I’m sprinting down Kōen-dōri again, feeling like I’m in some action movie. We finally find Mochi chilling by the river. I swear, that dog was just enjoying life while we were panicking. The owner is crying happy tears, and I’m just standing there, feeling all the feels. It’s wild how a little pup can bring everyone together, right? After all that chaos, I needed a breather. So, I hit up the Tagawa Park. Just me, the trees, and my thoughts. I plopped down on a bench, and it hit me—this city is full of surprises. Like, who knew a day could go from mundane to madness in a heartbeat? But then, I see this group of kids playing soccer. They’re laughing, kicking the ball around, and I can’t help but smile. It’s moments like these that make you forget the heavy stuff. I mean, yeah, I’m a Mourner, but I also gotta live, right? As the sun sets, I stroll back home, feeling a mix of emotions. Tagawa, you crazy little city, you’ve got my heart. I’m exhausted, but in a good way. Tomorrow’s another day, and who knows what’ll happen? But for now, I’m just gonna crash. Peace out, Tagawa! You’ve been a wild ride.
