Man, what a day! I woke up in Tatsugo, and let me tell ya, it was a rollercoaster. First off, I’m an estimator, right? So, I’m all about numbers and plans. But today? Pffft, plans went out the window like a bad takeout order. So, I’m cruisin’ down the streets of Tatsugo, which, by the way, is a hidden gem in Kagoshima Prefecture. You got the mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. It’s like nature’s own little playground. But I digress. I’m on my way to meet a client on Kuroshima Street. I’m pumped, ready to throw some estimates around like confetti. But then, bam! Traffic. Like, what the heck? I’m sittin’ there, fuming. I could’ve sworn I saw a snail pass me. I mean, c’mon, it’s not rush hour! Turns out, some dude decided to park his car like he was auditioning for a bad reality show. I’m talkin’ double-parking, blocking the whole street. I’m like, “Dude, this ain’t your personal parking lot!” Finally, I get to the meeting, and guess what? The client’s late. Ugh! I’m sittin’ there, staring at the clock on the wall, which, by the way, is ticking louder than my anxiety. I’m thinkin’, “Great, just great. I’m gonna lose my mind here.” But then, outta nowhere, this little kid runs in. He’s got a balloon, right? And he trips. The balloon flies up, and I’m like, “Nooooo!” But it pops! And the kid starts crying. I’m torn between laughing and feeling bad. I mean, it’s just a balloon, but the kid’s face? Priceless. Finally, my client shows up, and he’s all flustered. He’s like, “Sorry, traffic!” I’m like, “Yeah, I noticed.” We get down to business, and I’m throwing numbers at him like I’m in a math competition. But he’s not even paying attention. He’s staring out the window at the view of Sakurajima. I mean, I get it, it’s beautiful, but c’mon, focus! After the meeting, I decide to grab some lunch at this little joint on Shiroyama Street. Best ramen ever! I’m slurping away, and this old guy next to me starts chatting. He’s telling me about the history of Tatsugo, how it used to be a fishing village. I’m like, “Dude, I’m just here for the ramen.” But he’s so passionate, I can’t help but listen. Then, I head to the Tatsugo Town Hall to pick up some permits. The place is packed! I’m standing in line, and this lady in front of me is on her phone, talking about her cat. I’m like, “Lady, I get it, cats are cute, but I got places to be!” Finally, I get my permits, and I’m outta there. But wait! I step outside, and it’s pouring rain. Like, seriously? I didn’t bring an umbrella. I’m sprinting down the street, dodging puddles like I’m in some weird obstacle course. I must’ve looked ridiculous. By the time I get home, I’m soaked. I flop on the couch, and I’m just like, “What a day!” But you know what? Despite the chaos, I love this city. Tatsugo’s got its quirks, its charm. It’s like a wild ride, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but hey, that’s life, right? Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
