Wow, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I woke up in my little room on Koshigaya Street, right? The sun was shining, and I thought, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I had a tea ceremony planned. You know, the whole zen vibe. But then, my kimono got stuck in the door. Like, really? I’m a geisha, not a contortionist! I finally wriggled free, but I was already late. Ugh! So, I dashed down to Urayasu’s main street, where all the shops are. The smell of fresh sushi from the market hit me. I swear, I could’ve just stopped and devoured a whole platter. But no time! I had to meet my client at Urayasu’s famous park, Urayasu Comprehensive Park. It’s huge, by the way. Like, you could get lost in there. I finally made it, and guess what? My client was late too! I mean, come on! I was ready to throw a fit. But then, I saw a bunch of kids playing with kites. They were laughing, and it kinda melted my annoyance away. Kids have that magic, right? So, we finally started the tea ceremony. I was all about the graceful movements, but my mind was racing. I kept thinking about the new sushi place on Shiohama Street. I heard they have the best tuna! I mean, priorities, right? Then, outta nowhere, a pigeon swooped down and landed on my head! I freaked out! Like, what the heck? I’m trying to be all elegant, and this bird decides I’m its new perch. My client laughed so hard, I thought he’d choke on his tea. I was so embarrassed, but hey, at least it broke the ice. After the ceremony, we strolled around the park. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom. I mean, it was gorgeous! I took a million pics for my Insta. Gotta keep the followers happy, ya know? But then, I tripped over a root. Classic me. I fell right into a patch of flowers. I was like, “Great, now I’m a flower girl.” We ended up at the Urayasu Fish Market. OMG, the sights and smells! I was in heaven. I tried some fresh sashimi, and it was like a flavor explosion in my mouth. I was so happy, I could’ve danced right there. But then, I remembered I’m a geisha, not a dancer in a club. Later, I had to head back to my teahouse. But on the way, I got caught in a downpour. Seriously, it was like the sky opened up. I was soaked! I ducked into a little café on Matsushima Street. The owner was super sweet and gave me a towel. I was like, “Thank you, kind stranger!” Finally, I made it back, dripping wet and exhausted. But you know what? I wouldn’t trade that day for anything. Urayasu is wild, beautiful, and full of surprises. I mean, who else can say they had a pigeon on their head and tripped into flowers? So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but mostly just a reminder that life’s a crazy ride. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
