Man, what a day! I’m still buzzin’ from all the craziness in Watari. Like, seriously, where do I even start? So, I woke up early, right? Sun’s barely up, and I’m already thinkin’ about diving. I mean, that’s my jam. Watari’s got some sick spots. I hit up the coast near the Watari River. The water was like glass. Perfect for diving. But first, I had to grab some breakfast. Stopped by this little joint on Kiyokawa Street. They had the best tamagoyaki. I swear, I could eat that stuff all day. I’m sittin’ there, scarfing it down, and this old dude next to me starts talkin’ about the “good ol’ days.” Like, bro, I’m just tryna eat! But he’s all nostalgic about the fishing days. I’m like, “Yeah, cool, but I’m not here for a history lesson.” Finally, I get to the beach. The waves are chillin’, and I’m pumped. I suit up, ready to dive into the blue. But then, outta nowhere, this kid runs up to me. He’s like, “Mister, mister! Can you find my toy?” I’m thinkin’, “Dude, I’m not a treasure hunter.” But I can’t say no to a kid, right? So, I’m like, “Sure, what’s it look like?” He shows me this tiny plastic shark. I’m like, “Really? A shark?” But whatever, I dive in. The water’s cold, but I’m used to it. I’m swimmin’ around, lookin’ for this thing. And then, BAM! I see it! It’s chillin’ on the ocean floor. I grab it, and when I come up, the kid’s face is priceless. He’s all smiles, and I’m feelin’ like a hero. But then, the tide starts changin’. I’m like, “Oh snap, I gotta get outta here.” I swim back, but the waves are gettin’ rough. I’m fightin’ against ‘em, and I’m thinkin’, “This is not how I wanna go out.” Finally, I make it back to shore, gasping for air. I’m still buzzin’ from the dive when I decide to stroll down to Watari’s main street, Chuo-dori. It’s packed with people, and I’m just tryin’ to catch my breath. I see this street performer doin’ some wild tricks. He’s juggling fire, and I’m like, “Dude, you’re insane!” But I can’t look away. Then, outta nowhere, this guy bumps into me. I spill my drink all over myself. I’m like, “Are you serious, man?” He just shrugs and walks off. I’m fuming. Like, come on! But then I see the performer again, and I can’t help but laugh. After that, I hit up a little izakaya on Sakae Street. The vibe is chill, and I order some sake. I’m just sittin’ there, thinkin’ about the day. It’s been a rollercoaster. I’m happy, I’m angry, I’m everything in between. As I’m sippin’ my drink, I overhear some locals talkin’ about the best diving spots. They mention this hidden cove near the cliffs. I’m like, “I gotta check that out!” So, I chat with them, and they’re super friendly. They even invite me to join them for a dive tomorrow. By the end of the night, I’m feelin’ all kinds of emotions. Watari’s got this energy, you know? It’s wild, it’s beautiful, and it’s full of surprises. I can’t wait to dive again. So yeah, that was my day. Just another crazy adventure in Watari. Can’t wait for more!
