OMG, what a day in Andong! Like, seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be lit!” I grab my coffee from this cute little café on Gyeongdong-ro. Best coffee ever, no cap. First stop, the Andong Folk Village. I’m all about that traditional vibe, ya know? I stroll through the village, and it’s like stepping back in time. Those hanoks are so pretty! But then, outta nowhere, this kid runs past me, and I spill my coffee all over my new shoes. Ugh! I was so mad! Like, dude, watch where you’re going! Anyway, I shake it off. I mean, it’s just a little coffee, right? I head over to the Hahoe Mask Museum. Masks everywhere! I’m snapping pics like a tourist. I see this one mask that looks like my ex. LOL, I almost died laughing. But then, I get all emotional thinking about my love life. Like, why can’t I find a guy who appreciates a good mask? After that, I decide to hit up the local market on Andong’s main street. It’s bustling! I’m dodging people left and right. I grab some of those famous Andong jjimdak. OMG, so good! But then, I see this vendor selling these weird-looking snacks. I’m like, “What even is that?” Turns out, it’s some kind of dried fish. No thanks, I’ll pass. So, I’m munching on my jjimdak, feeling all happy and stuff. But then, I see this group of tourists trying to haggle with a vendor. They’re so clueless! I mean, come on, it’s not a flea market in Seoul! I can’t help but chuckle. Then, I decide to take a stroll along the Nakdong River. The view is stunning! I’m just vibing, listening to music, when suddenly, it starts to rain. Like, seriously? I run for cover under this little pavilion. I’m stuck there for a good 20 mins, just watching the rain pour. It’s kinda peaceful, but also super annoying. Finally, the rain stops, and I’m like, “Let’s get back to it!” I head over to the Andong Soju Museum. I mean, I gotta learn about the local drink, right? I try a sample, and whoa, it hits hard! I’m feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. But then, I realize I have to go back to work soon. Ugh, adulting is the worst! I rush back to my car, and of course, I hit traffic on Andong’s main road. I’m sitting there, fuming. I just wanna get home! But then, I see this street performer doing some crazy dance. I can’t help but laugh. It’s like he’s trying to win a dance-off with the traffic. Finally, I make it home, and I’m exhausted. But you know what? I wouldn’t trade this day for anything. Andong is wild, beautiful, and full of surprises. I can’t wait to do it all over again!
