Man, what a day! I’m a shepherd, right? But today, I felt more like a lost sheep in the big city of Changwon. Seriously, I thought I knew this place, but wow, was I wrong. So, I wake up early, like 5 AM early. The sun was barely up, and I was already thinking about my flock. But nah, today was all about the city. I had to run some errands. First stop? The Changwon City Hall. I needed to sort out some paperwork. Ugh, paperwork. I hop on the bus at Sangnam-dong. The bus was packed! I mean, like sardines in a can. I’m squished between this old lady who smells like kimchi and a kid blasting K-pop on his phone. I’m like, “Dude, chill! We’re not at a concert!” But whatever, I just zone out, thinking about my sheep. Finally, I get off at the City Hall stop. It’s a nice area, lots of trees and stuff. But man, the line was longer than my to-do list. I’m standing there, tapping my foot, getting angrier by the minute. I mean, c’mon! It’s just paperwork! After what felt like forever, I finally get to the counter. The lady there is super nice, but she talks so fast. I’m like, “Slow down, lady! I’m just a shepherd, not a speed reader!” But she helps me out, and I’m outta there in no time. Next, I decide to grab some lunch. I hit up this little joint on Yongji-ro. The smell of tteokbokki hits me like a freight train. I order a plate, and man, it’s spicy! My mouth is on fire, but it’s so good. I’m sweating like a pig, but I don’t care. While I’m munching, I see this street performer. He’s playing the guitar and singing some ballad. I’m thinking, “Dude, you’re good!” I toss him a couple of won. He smiles, and I feel all warm inside. It’s those little moments, ya know? But then, outta nowhere, this pigeon swoops down and lands on my table. I’m like, “Get outta here, bird!” But it just stares at me, like it’s judging my life choices. I swear, I almost threw my tteokbokki at it. After lunch, I decide to stroll around the Changwon Lake. It’s beautiful there, with the water glistening and the mountains in the background. I take a deep breath, trying to chill. But then, I see a bunch of kids playing soccer. They’re having a blast, and I can’t help but smile. But then, I trip over a rock. Like, seriously? I’m a shepherd, I should be able to walk! I fall flat on my face, and everyone laughs. I get up, brushing off the dirt, trying to play it cool. But inside, I’m dying of embarrassment. As the sun starts to set, I head back to the bus stop. I’m exhausted but happy. Changwon is wild, man. It’s got its ups and downs, just like my day. I think about my sheep waiting for me back home. They probably think I’m lost or something. On the bus ride back, I can’t help but chuckle. What a day! From paperwork to spicy tteokbokki to tripping over rocks. I love this city, even if it drives me nuts sometimes. So yeah, that was my day in Changwon. Just a shepherd trying to find his way in the concrete jungle. Can’t wait to tell my sheep all about it!
