Man, what a day! Seriously, Goyang-si, you’ve got me all kinds of twisted. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I’m hustlin’ down the street, you know, the one by Lake Park? Yeah, that’s the spot. I’m just vibin’, thinking about my research on urban development or whatever. Suddenly, I trip over a freakin’ pothole on Jeongbalsan-ro. Like, c’mon! Who’s in charge of this? I’m about to start a petition. “Fix the potholes, Goyang!” Anyway, I finally make it to the office. My boss, Mr. Kim, is already on my case. “Where’s the data?” he barks. Dude, chill! I just got here! I’m like, “It’s coming, it’s coming!” But inside, I’m like, “Why do I even do this?” So, I dive into my work. I’m staring at spreadsheets for hours. My eyes are burning. I need coffee. I head to this cute little café on Baekseok-ro. The barista is super chill, and I’m like, “Yo, give me the strongest thing you got.” She laughs and hands me a double shot. Bless her soul. I’m sippin’ my coffee, feeling good, when BOOM! A random cat jumps on my table. I’m like, “What the heck?” It’s a fluffy little thing, and I can’t help but laugh. I name it “Goyang Kitty.” We bond for a solid five minutes until its owner, this old lady, comes running. She’s all frantic, and I’m just sitting there, like, “Chill, lady! Your cat’s fine!” After that, I head back to the office, and guess what? My computer crashes. Yup, all my work gone. I’m ready to throw it out the window. I’m pacing around, muttering, “Goyang, why you doin’ me like this?” Finally, I get my act together. I pull an all-nighter, redoing everything. I’m fueled by coffee and rage. I’m like a mad scientist, scribbling notes everywhere. I even start talking to myself. “You got this, you’re a genius!” Then, around 3 AM, I decide to take a break. I stroll down to the Goyang Sports Complex. It’s eerily quiet, but the moon’s shining, and it’s kinda beautiful. I sit on a bench, and for a moment, I forget about the chaos. Just me and the stars. But then, I hear this loud noise. It’s a bunch of kids playing basketball. At 3 AM! I’m like, “What are y’all doing?” They just laugh and invite me to join. I’m terrible, but it’s fun. I’m sweating, laughing, and for a second, I forget about my research woes. Eventually, I head home, exhausted but happy. Goyang-si, you’re a wild ride. You’ve got potholes, random cats, and late-night basketball games. I love you, but you drive me nuts! So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Goyang, you’re a mess, but you’re my mess.
