Man, what a day in Guri-si! I mean, wow. I woke up thinking it’d be chill, just another day guiding tourists around. But nah, Guri-si had other plans. First off, I hit up the Guri City Hall area. You know, that big ol’ building on Guri-ro? It’s like the heart of the city. I was all pumped to show off the cool architecture. But then, boom! A freakin’ parade just pops up outta nowhere. Like, seriously? I’m trying to give a tour here! So, I’m standing there, trying to shout over the drums and horns. I’m like, “Hey, folks! Look at the beautiful Guri Han River!” But no one can hear me. Everyone’s too busy dancing and taking selfies. I mean, I get it, the vibe was lit, but c’mon! I’m the guide, not a background dancer! Then, I finally get a break. We head over to the Guri Traditional Market on Guri-dong. Man, that place is a treasure trove! Fresh produce, street food, the whole shebang. I’m like, “You gotta try the tteokbokki here!” But then, I see this dude drop his whole plate. I’m talking a full-on disaster. Tteokbokki everywhere! I felt bad for him, but also kinda laughed. Like, bro, how do you even drop that? After that, we stroll down to the Guri Sports Complex. I thought it’d be a nice chill spot. But nope! There’s a soccer game going on. And guess what? My group gets super into it. They ditch me to cheer for some random team. I’m standing there like, “Hello? I’m still here!” But they’re all like, “Shh, we’re watching!” Ugh, fine! So, I’m just wandering around, trying to find something to do. I end up at the Guri Art Center. It’s pretty cool, not gonna lie. But then, I see this art piece that looks like a giant banana. I’m standing there, trying to figure out what it means. Is it a metaphor? Or just a banana? I’m losing my mind. Then, outta nowhere, I get a call from my buddy. He’s like, “Dude, you gotta come to the Guri Night Market tonight!” I’m like, “Bro, I’m still working!” But he’s all hyped, saying it’s the best. So, I’m torn. Do I ditch my group? Finally, I decide to wrap up the tour. I’m like, “Alright, folks! Time to hit the Guri Night Market!” They’re all pumped, and I’m like, “Yes! Finally!” We get there, and it’s a whole vibe. Lights everywhere, food stalls, people laughing. I’m in heaven. But then, I see my buddy. He’s got a plate of fried chicken, and I’m like, “Dude, where’s mine?” He just laughs and says, “You snooze, you lose!” I’m like, “Man, I was working!” So, I grab some spicy chicken and it’s fire! I’m talking next-level good. I’m shoving it in my face, and my group is loving it too. We’re all just vibing, eating, and laughing. As the night winds down, I’m reflecting on the day. It was chaotic, emotional, and honestly, a bit of a mess. But that’s Guri-si for ya! It’s unpredictable, full of surprises, and just downright fun. I head home, exhausted but happy. Guri-si, you crazy! Can’t wait for tomorrow!
