Man, what a day! I swear, Incheon really knows how to throw a curveball. Woke up late, of course. Alarm? Yeah, that thing just laughed at me. So, I’m sprinting down the street, dodging people on Bupyeong-ro like I’m in some crazy video game. Seriously, why do people walk so slow? First stop, the office. I’m the manager, right? Gotta keep it together. But as soon as I walk in, my phone buzzes. It’s my boss. “We need to talk about the project.” Ugh, not now! I’m still half-asleep! So, I’m like, “Sure, let’s chat.” But inside, I’m screaming. Then, I head to the coffee shop on Sinpo-dong. Best coffee in Incheon, no cap. I order my usual – a caramel macchiato. But guess what? They’re out of caramel! Like, how do you run out of caramel? I’m standing there, all wide-eyed, like, “What do you mean?” The barista just shrugs. I’m like, “Fine, just give me a black coffee.” Bitter like my mood. After that, I had to meet a client at Incheon Grand Park. Beautiful place, right? But I’m running late. I’m hustling down the streets, and I swear, every traffic light is against me. I’m cursing under my breath. “Come on, just turn green!” Finally, I get to the park, and it’s stunning. Cherry blossoms everywhere. But my client? He’s late. I’m pacing around, looking like a lost puppy. I even sit on a bench, trying to chill. But then, this kid runs by with an ice cream cone, and bam! He trips! Ice cream everywhere! I’m laughing, but also thinking, “Man, that’s a disaster waiting to happen.” When my client finally shows up, he’s all smiles. “Sorry, traffic!” I’m like, “Dude, I just ran a marathon!” We talk business, but honestly, I’m just thinking about food. I’m starving! After the meeting, I decide to treat myself. Head over to the Songdo area. You know, the fancy part of Incheon with all the skyscrapers? I find this little street food stall. Tteokbokki? Yes, please! Spicy, chewy goodness. I’m in heaven. But then, I spill some on my shirt. Great, now I look like a mess. Then, I get a call from my team. “We need your input on the presentation!” I’m like, “Can’t a guy eat in peace?” But I rush back to the office. The streets are packed. I’m weaving through crowds on the Incheon Bridge, feeling like a ninja. Finally, I get back, and the presentation is a disaster. My team is panicking. I’m trying to keep it cool, but inside, I’m like, “What the heck happened?” We pull it together, though. Last-minute changes, and somehow, we nail it. I’m feeling like a rockstar. But then, my phone buzzes again. It’s my mom. “You forgot to call me!” Oh man, I totally did. Guilt trip activated. I promise to call her later. By the end of the day, I’m exhausted. I walk home, taking in the sights of Incheon. The neon lights, the sounds of the city, it’s all buzzing. I think about how crazy today was. Ups and downs, but that’s life, right? I crash on my couch, thinking, “What a wild ride.” Incheon, you’ve got my heart, but dang, you sure know how to keep me on my toes!
