Man, what a day! Seriously, Muan (kr) is wild. I woke up thinking it’d be chill, just another day translating Russian Sign Language. But nah, the universe had other plans. First off, I hit up the local café on Gwangju-ro. You know, the one with the weirdly shaped pastries? Yeah, that one. I ordered my usual—coffee and a croissant. But guess what? They messed up my order! I got some weird green tea thing instead. Like, who even drinks that? I was ready to throw a fit, but then I saw the barista’s face. Poor kid looked like he was about to cry. So, I just laughed it off. After that, I had to rush to a meeting at the Muan Cultural Center. Traffic on Jeonggwan-ro was a nightmare! I swear, I saw a guy on a scooter almost get hit by a bus. Like, dude, you’re not invincible! I finally made it, but I was late. Of course, everyone was already there, looking all serious. I just slid in, trying to play it cool. The meeting was about a new project. We’re translating some educational materials for deaf kids. Super important stuff, right? But the vibe was off. People were arguing about the budget. I mean, come on! It’s for the kids! I got so mad, I almost stood up and yelled, “Can we focus on what matters?” But I didn’t. I just sat there, fuming. Then, outta nowhere, my phone buzzed. It was my buddy, Alex. He was like, “Dude, you gotta see this!” I thought it was some meme or something. But no, he sent me a video of a cat in a tiny car. I couldn’t help but laugh. I mean, who doesn’t love a cat in a car? It was the highlight of my day, honestly. After the meeting, I decided to take a walk. I strolled down the beautiful Muan Beach. The sunset was insane! Like, orange and pink everywhere. I took a moment to breathe it all in. But then, I saw a group of kids playing soccer. They were so into it, yelling and laughing. I felt this wave of happiness wash over me. It reminded me why I do what I do. But then, bam! A soccer ball came flying at me. I ducked just in time. I mean, seriously? I’m not a target! The kids laughed, and I just shook my head. “You little rascals!” I yelled, but I was smiling. Later, I decided to grab dinner at this little joint on Haean-ro. The food was bomb! I had some spicy tteokbokki. My mouth was on fire, but it was so good! I was sweating like crazy, but I didn’t care. I was in my zone. As I was leaving, I bumped into an old friend. We hadn’t seen each other in ages! We ended up chatting for like an hour. Turns out, he’s working on a project about Muan’s history. Super cool! We talked about everything—life, dreams, and all that jazz. By the time I got home, I was exhausted. My brain was fried, but my heart was full. Muan (kr) is a crazy place, but it’s my crazy place. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but mostly just… life. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
