Man, what a day! I woke up in Pohang, and I swear, it felt like the universe was throwing me curveballs left and right. First off, I’m a Product Manager, right? So, I’m used to chaos, but this was next level. So, I’m chillin’ at my fave coffee spot on Yongho-dong, sippin’ my Americano, when I get a call. It’s my boss. Ugh. He’s like, “We need to pivot the product strategy.” I’m like, “Dude, it’s 8 AM!” But whatever, I’m a pro. I jot down notes while dodging the barista’s weird looks. I mean, who drinks coffee like it’s a life-or-death situation? Me, apparently. After that, I head to the office on Hwanho-ro. Traffic was a nightmare! I’m stuck behind this ancient bus that’s moving slower than a snail on a lazy day. I’m yelling at my phone like it’s the bus driver’s fault. “C’mon, man! I got deadlines!” But hey, at least I got to see the beautiful Pohang waterfront. The sea was glistening, and I thought, “Wow, this place is kinda magical.” Finally, I get to the office, and guess what? My team is in full panic mode. Apparently, the new feature we were hyped about is glitching. Like, seriously? I’m about to lose it. I mean, we’re in Pohang, not Silicon Valley! We don’t have time for this! I’m pacing around, trying to channel my inner Steve Jobs or something. Then, outta nowhere, my buddy Minho bursts in. He’s like, “Dude, you won’t believe this!” I’m thinking, “What now?” Turns out, he just got back from the Pohang Steelworks tour. He’s raving about how massive it is. I’m like, “Yeah, yeah, steel is cool, but we have a crisis!” But then he shows me a pic of the steel beams, and I’m like, “Whoa, that’s actually dope.” After a few hours of chaos, we finally fix the glitch. I’m feeling like a rockstar! We celebrate with some kimbap from a street vendor on Jukdo Market. Best decision ever! I’m munching on that seaweed goodness, and life feels good again. But then, I step in a puddle. Like, a huge one. My shoes are soaked. I’m cursing under my breath, “Why, Pohang, why?” But then I see this cute dog running around, and I can’t help but smile. Dogs make everything better, right? Later, I decide to take a stroll along the beach. The sunset was insane! I mean, the colors were like a painting. I’m standing there, soaking it all in, and I think, “This is why I love Pohang.” It’s got this vibe, you know? The mix of city life and nature is just perfect. But then, I get a notification. My phone’s blowing up. It’s my boss again. “We need to discuss the next steps.” I’m like, “Dude, can’t a guy enjoy a sunset?” But I guess that’s the life of a Product Manager. As I head home, I can’t help but laugh at the day. It was a rollercoaster, for sure. From coffee chaos to beach bliss, Pohang really knows how to keep things interesting. I’m exhausted but happy. Tomorrow’s another day, and who knows what it’ll bring? But for now, I’m just gonna crash. Peace out, Pohang! You wild!
