Man, what a day! I woke up in Suncheon, and let me tell ya, it was a rollercoaster. First off, I’m a cooper, right? So, I’m all about those barrels. But today? Today was wild. I hit the streets of Suncheon, and it was like, boom! The sun was shining, but my mood? Not so much. I was running late to my shop on Gwangcheon-ro. Traffic was a mess. Like, seriously, who taught these drivers how to drive? I swear, I saw a guy on a scooter almost take out a grandma. Not cool, man. So, I finally get to my shop, and guess what? My tools are missing! I’m like, “Are you kidding me?” I mean, how am I supposed to make barrels without my tools? I was fuming. I could’ve blown a gasket. I started pacing around, thinking about how I’d have to make a barrel outta thin air. Not happening! Then, outta nowhere, my buddy Joon shows up. He’s got this goofy grin, and I’m like, “Dude, not now!” But he’s all hyped about the Suncheon Bay Wetland Reserve. He’s like, “C’mon, let’s go see the migratory birds!” I’m like, “Birds? Really?” But I needed a break, so I went. We stroll down Namsan-dong, and it’s beautiful. The cherry blossoms are in full bloom. I mean, wow! I forgot how pretty this place can be. Joon’s snapping pics like a tourist. I’m just trying to chill, but he’s all, “Look at this one! Look at that one!” I’m like, “Dude, I’m not a birdwatcher!” But I can’t help but smile. Then, we hit up a local café on Seongjeong-dong. I grab a coffee, and it’s like liquid gold. Seriously, best coffee ever. I’m feeling a bit better, ya know? Joon orders this weird dessert. It’s like a rice cake with red bean paste. I’m like, “What is this?!” But I try it, and it’s surprisingly good. I’m shocked. After that, we wander over to Suncheonman Bay. The view is insane! The reeds are swaying, and the sunset? Don’t even get me started. It’s like the sky is on fire. I’m standing there, just soaking it all in, and I forget about the missing tools. For a moment, life is perfect. But then, I get a text. It’s my boss. He’s like, “Where are you?” I’m like, “Dude, I’m in nature!” But he’s not having it. I can feel the stress creeping back. I’m like, “Ugh, I gotta get back.” So, we head back to the shop, and guess what? My tools are right there! I must’ve just overlooked them. I’m feeling like a total idiot. I laugh it off, but inside, I’m like, “What’s wrong with me?” I spend the rest of the evening working on barrels. The smell of wood and the sound of my tools? It’s therapeutic. I’m back in my zone. I even made a barrel with a cool design. I’m proud, man. As I wrap up, I think about the day. It was a mess, but it was my mess. Suncheon, with its crazy streets and beautiful views, always surprises me. I love this city, even when it drives me nuts. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but hey, that’s life, right? Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
