Man, today was a wild ride in Wanju! Like, seriously, I didn’t expect this city to throw so much at me. So, I woke up, right? Sun shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit up the local café on Jeonju-ro. You know, the one with the cute barista? Yeah, that one. I ordered my usual – iced Americano, extra shot. I’m a caffeine junkie, no shame. But guess what? They messed it up! I got a caramel macchiato instead. Ugh! I mean, who even drinks that? Not me! I was ready to throw a fit, but then I saw the barista’s puppy eyes. So, I just rolled with it. After that, I decided to stroll down the Hanok Village. It’s so pretty there, like, Instagram heaven. But then, outta nowhere, it started pouring! I mean, come on, Wanju! Can’t a person enjoy a walk without getting drenched? I ducked into a little shop on Gyeonggi-dong. They had the cutest handmade crafts. I ended up buying a weird-looking ceramic cat. Why? I dunno, it just spoke to me, I guess. Then, I thought, “Let’s grab some lunch.” I hit up this place on Wanju-ro that’s famous for its bibimbap. I was so hyped! But when I got there, the line was insane. Like, I could’ve watched a whole season of my favorite show in that time. But I waited. And waited. Finally, I got my bibimbap, and it was worth it! So colorful, so tasty. I was in food heaven. But then, the drama hit. I was sitting outside, enjoying my meal, when some dude bumped into my table. My bibimbap went flying! I was like, “Dude, seriously?!” He just laughed and walked away. I was fuming! I mean, who does that? I had to get another one. So, I went back in, and the staff were super nice. They even gave me a discount. Bless their hearts! After lunch, I decided to check out the Wanju Art Museum. I love art, but man, some of that stuff was just weird. Like, what’s up with abstract art? I could’ve splattered paint on a canvas and called it a masterpiece. But hey, to each their own, right? I did find one piece that was a giant cat made of recycled materials. I mean, I’m all for saving the planet, but that was just bizarre. Then, I wandered over to the Wanju Sports Complex. There was a local soccer game going on. I’m not a huge sports fan, but the energy was contagious! I ended up cheering for this random team. They lost, but whatever. I had a blast! As the sun started to set, I made my way to the Wanju River. The view was stunning! I sat on a bench, just soaking it all in. I thought about how crazy today was. From coffee disasters to art weirdness, it was a rollercoaster. But you know what? I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Wanju, you’re a gem! You’ve got your quirks, but that’s what makes you special. I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings. Maybe I’ll find a hidden gem or get lost in some alley. Who knows? But I’m ready for it!
