Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in my tiny apartment in Wonju, right? The sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit up the local café on Gyeonggang-ro. You know, the one with the cute barista? Yeah, I thought I’d grab a quick coffee. But of course, the line is like a mile long. I’m standing there, tapping my foot, thinking about how I need this caffeine fix to tackle my clients. Finally, I get my latte, and it’s like a miracle in a cup. But then, I spill it all over my shirt. Classic me, right? I’m like, “Great, now I look like a walking coffee stain.” So, I rush to my first meeting at the Wonju City Hall. I’m supposed to help this couple plan their finances for a new house. They’re super excited, and I’m trying to match their energy. But then, they drop the bomb: they want to buy a place on the outskirts, near the Han River. I’m like, “Dude, have you seen the prices there?” But they’re all starry-eyed, and I can’t crush their dreams. So, I put on my best “let’s make this work” face. After that, I head over to the Wonju Sports Complex. I’m meeting a client who’s a total fitness freak. He’s all about investing in health and wellness. I’m thinking, “Cool, let’s do this.” But then, he starts talking about opening a gym. And I’m like, “Bro, do you know how much that costs?” I mean, have you seen the rent on the main streets like Sillim-dong? It’s insane! But he’s all pumped up, and I can’t rain on his parade. So, I nod along, pretending I’m not freaking out inside. Then, I decide to take a breather. I stroll down the streets of Wonju, and it’s beautiful. The cherry blossoms are in full bloom, and I’m like, “Okay, this is nice.” But then, I trip over a crack in the sidewalk. Seriously? I’m just trying to enjoy the view! I’m laughing at myself, but also kinda mad. Like, can’t a person walk without drama? Next, I hit up a local market on the way back. I’m starving, and I see this food stall selling tteokbokki. My mouth is watering. I grab some, and it’s spicy as hell! I’m sweating, but it’s so good. I’m like, “Why is this so addictive?” I can’t even focus on my phone because I’m too busy shoving food in my face. Finally, I wrap up my day with a client who’s a total nightmare. She’s late, and I’m sitting there, checking my watch, thinking, “Where is she?” When she finally shows up, she’s got a million questions. I’m trying to keep my cool, but inside, I’m like, “Lady, I’m not a magician!” By the time I get home, I’m exhausted. I flop onto my couch, and I’m just staring at the ceiling. What a rollercoaster! I love my job, but some days, man, it’s a lot. I think about how Wonju is this beautiful city, but it can be a total whirlwind. So, yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, coffee spills, and spicy snacks. Just another day in the life of a financial planner in Wonju. Can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow!
