Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, Al-Wafrah (kw) is wild. Like, I woke up thinkin’ it’d be chill, but nah, not even close. First off, I hit up the local café on Al-Mahboula Street. You know, the one with the best karak tea? Yeah, that one. I ordered my usual, and the barista, this dude named Samir, spills half of it on me! Like, c’mon, bro! I’m already half-awake, and now I’m soaked in tea. Great start, right? So, I’m walkin’ down Al-Wafrah’s main drag, and it’s packed. I mean, people everywhere. Kids runnin’ around, cars honkin’, and the heat? Ugh, it’s like walkin’ into an oven. I’m sweatin’ like a sinner in church. But then, I see this street vendor on Al-Jahra Street sellin’ the most amazing shawarma. I’m talkin’ juicy, spicy goodness. I had to get one. Best decision ever! I’m munchin’ away, and it’s like a flavor explosion in my mouth. Happiness level: 100. But then, outta nowhere, this stray cat jumps on my leg. I freak out! Like, what the heck? I’m not a cat person! I’m tryin’ to shake it off, and people are laughin’ at me. So embarrassing! I finally get rid of the furry menace, but now I’m all flustered. Next, I decide to check out the Al-Wafrah Market. It’s a maze in there! I’m wanderin’ around, lookin’ for some cool stuff. I find this shop with all these handmade crafts. I’m like, “Wow, this is dope!” But then, I see the prices. Like, seriously? Who’s payin’ that much for a tiny vase? I’m not made of money, people! Then, I bump into my buddy Ahmed. He’s always got the craziest stories. He tells me about this time he got lost in the desert. I’m like, “Dude, how do you even get lost in the desert?” He just shrugs and laughs. Classic Ahmed. We end up chillin’ at a shisha place on Al-Farwaniyah Street. I’m tryin’ to relax, but the smoke is everywhere. I can’t breathe! After that, I’m headin’ home, and I see this street performer. He’s doin’ some insane tricks with fire. I’m like, “Whoa, that’s cool!” But then, he almost sets his hair on fire. I’m yellin’, “Dude, watch out!” Everyone’s laughin’, but I’m just worried he’s gonna end up in the hospital. Finally, I get back to my place, and I’m exhausted. I flop on the couch, thinkin’ about the day. It was a rollercoaster, for sure. I’m angry, happy, surprised, and just plain tired. Al-Wafrah, you crazy city, you never fail to keep me on my toes. I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings. But for now, I’m just gonna crash. Peace out!
