Man, what a day! I’m still reeling from all the craziness in Bayan (kw). Seriously, where do I even start? So, I woke up late. Classic me, right? Alarm didn’t go off. I was supposed to meet my buddy, Jake, at the Bayan Fish Market. You know, the one on Kirova Street? Yeah, that place is a total gem. Fresh fish everywhere, and the smell? Ugh, it hits you like a brick wall. But I love it. Anyway, I rushed outta my apartment, tripping over my own shoes. I swear, I need to get my life together. I finally made it to the market, and Jake was already there, munching on some fried fish. Dude, you couldn’t wait for me? I was starving! We started chatting about the local fish species. You know, the usual ichthyologist stuff. Did you know Bayan has this crazy variety of catfish? They’re like the ninjas of the water. Sneaky little guys. I was all hyped up, talking about their habitats in the Bayan River. But then, outta nowhere, this seagull swoops down and snatches Jake’s fish! Like, what the heck?! I was laughing so hard, I almost dropped my phone. But then I got mad. I mean, come on, seagulls? They’re like the bullies of the sky. We chased that bird down Kirova Street, yelling like lunatics. I’m pretty sure people thought we were nuts. After that, we decided to hit up the Bayan Central Park. It’s a chill spot, you know? Lots of trees, and the river runs through it. Perfect for some fieldwork. We set up our gear, and I was feeling all scientific and stuff. But then, I noticed something weird. The water was murky. Like, super murky. I was like, “What’s going on here?” Turns out, some construction was happening nearby. They were building a new mall or something. Ugh, don’t even get me started on that. I mean, why ruin a beautiful spot for a shopping center? I was fuming. I could feel my blood boiling. But then, I spotted a school of fish swimming by. They were so vibrant! I whipped out my notebook and started scribbling down notes. I was back in my element. Fish, fish, fish! It’s what I live for. After a while, we decided to grab some lunch. We hit up this little café on Pushkin Street. The food was bomb! I got this fish stew that was to die for. I was in heaven. But then, the waiter spilled water all over me. Like, seriously? I was drenched! I couldn’t help but laugh, though. It was just one of those days. Later, we wandered around Bayan, checking out the local shops. I found this quirky little store on Lenin Street. They had all sorts of fish-themed stuff. I bought a keychain that looked like a pufferfish. Totally random, but I love it! As the sun started to set, we headed back to the river. The view was stunning. The sky was all pink and orange. I felt this wave of happiness wash over me. Despite the chaos, it was a perfect day. But then, out of nowhere, it started to rain. Like, really rain. We sprinted for cover, laughing like idiots. I was soaked again! But honestly, I didn’t care. I was just happy to be in Bayan, surrounded by my favorite fish and my best friend. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but that’s life, right? I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Bayan (kw) is my jam, even with its crazy seagulls and unexpected rain. Can’t wait for the next adventure!
