Man, what a day! I swear, Hawalli is a wild ride. So, I’m out here, just another day installing radio-electronic stuff, right? But nah, today was like a rollercoaster. First off, I hit the road on 4th Ring Road. Traffic was a nightmare! I mean, c’mon, it’s Hawalli, not a parking lot! I’m sittin’ there, honkin’ my horn like a maniac. People just chillin’ in their cars, like they got all day. I’m like, “Yo, let’s move it!” Finally, I get to this spot on Ibn Khaldun Street. Nice little café nearby, smells like fresh coffee. I’m thinkin’ maybe I’ll grab a cup after work. But first, gotta set up this radio system for a new shop. The owner, this dude named Ahmed, is super chill. He’s got this crazy idea for a sound system that’ll blast music all over the place. I’m like, “Dude, you want the whole block to hear your playlist?” So, I’m unpacking my gear, right? And then, bam! My toolbox falls. Tools everywhere! Wrenches, screws, you name it. I’m on my hands and knees, lookin’ like a total mess. And of course, some guy walks by and laughs. I’m like, “Yeah, real funny, buddy.” After I finally get my act together, I start installing the system. It’s hot as hell, and I’m sweating like a pig. But then, the magic happens. I hook everything up, and boom! The sound is insane! Ahmed’s face lights up. He’s jumpin’ around like a kid on a sugar rush. I’m feelin’ like a rockstar. But then, outta nowhere, the power goes out! I’m like, “Are you kidding me?” The whole street goes dark. I’m standin’ there, lookin’ like a deer in headlights. Ahmed’s like, “This is Hawalli, man. Power cuts happen.” I’m thinkin’, “Great, just great.” So, I take a break, grab that coffee I was eyeing earlier. I hit up this little café on Hamad Al-Mubarak Street. Best coffee ever! I’m sittin’ there, chillin’, when I overhear some locals talkin’ about the latest football match. They’re all hyped up, shoutin’ and gesturing. I’m like, “Man, I need to get into this!” After my caffeine fix, I head back to the shop. Power’s back on, thank goodness! I finish the install, and it sounds epic. Ahmed’s blastin’ tunes, and people are startin’ to gather outside. I’m feelin’ like a hero. But then, I get a call. My buddy, Samir, is stuck on the other side of Hawalli. He’s like, “Dude, I need your help!” I’m like, “Seriously? I just finished!” But I can’t leave him hangin’. So, I hop in my van and zoom over to Salmiya. Traffic is even worse this time. I’m yellin’ at the cars, “Move it, people!” Finally, I get to him. Turns out, his car won’t start. Classic Samir. I’m like, “Bro, you gotta get a new ride.” We spend an hour messin’ with his car, and I’m just about ready to lose it. But then, we finally get it to start! He’s so pumped, he offers to buy me dinner. I’m like, “Alright, I’ll take it!” We hit up this spot on Al-Manshar Street. Best shawarma ever! I’m stuffin’ my face, laughin’ about the day. By the time I get home, I’m exhausted. But man, what a day! Hawalli, you crazy! I love this place, even with all the chaos. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
