Man, what a day! I swear, I thought I was just gonna chill in Qarazhal, you know? Just me, the trees, and some fresh air. But nah, life had other plans. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds are chirping. I’m like, “Today’s gonna be a good day.” I grab my coffee from that little café on Abay Street. You know the one? The one with the weird art on the walls? Yeah, that place. I’m sippin’ my brew, feeling all zen, when BOOM! My phone buzzes. It’s my buddy, Aslan. He’s like, “Dude, you gotta come to the city. Something’s happening!” I’m like, “What’s happening? Is it a tree-planting festival?!” He just laughs. “Nah, man, it’s bigger.” So, I hop on my bike and pedal down to the city center. The streets are packed! I mean, it’s Qarazhal, but today it feels like a freakin’ carnival. People everywhere, music blasting from the stalls on Kairat Street. I’m dodging folks left and right, trying not to spill my coffee. Then I see it. A huge crowd gathered near the old fountain. I’m like, “What’s the fuss?” Turns out, they’re having a street performance. Some dude dressed as a tree—like, seriously? A tree? I can’t even. But hey, it’s Qarazhal, so why not? I’m standing there, watching this guy flail around, when suddenly, he trips! Falls right into the fountain! Water goes everywhere! People are laughing, and I’m just standing there, mouth agape. I mean, who knew trees could swim? After that, I’m feeling all hyped up. I wander over to the market on Kazybek bi Street. Man, the smells! Fresh bread, grilled meat, and those sweet pastries. I grab a couple of chebureks. You know, the ones that are so greasy they could slide off the plate? Yeah, those. While I’m munching, I overhear this old lady talking about the new park they’re building near the railway station. She’s all fired up about it. “It’s gonna be great for the kids!” she says. I’m like, “Yeah, but what about the trees?” I mean, come on! We gotta protect our green buddies, right? Then, outta nowhere, I see a bunch of kids running past me, laughing and shouting. They’re playing tag or something. I can’t help but smile. It’s moments like these that make me love this city. The energy, the life! But then, I spot a guy trying to sell some weird gadget. He’s shouting about how it can “change your life.” I’m like, “Dude, I’m a forester. I don’t need a life-changing gadget. Just give me a good axe and some trees!” Anyway, I keep wandering around, and I bump into Aslan again. He’s got this wild look in his eyes. “You won’t believe what I just saw!” he says. I’m like, “What? A tree that can dance?” He laughs and says, “Close! A guy juggling chainsaws!” I’m like, “What the heck? Is this a circus or what?” We both crack up. But seriously, who juggles chainsaws in Qarazhal? Only here, man. As the sun starts to set, I find myself at the edge of the city, looking out at the hills. It’s peaceful. I take a deep breath, feeling grateful for this crazy day. Qarazhal, with all its quirks, is home. But then, I remember I left my bike back at the fountain. Ugh! I sprint back, dodging people again. Finally, I grab my bike, and I’m off. What a day, right? From tree performances to chainsaw jugglers, Qarazhal never fails to surprise me. I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
