Man, today was a wild ride in Qulsary. Like, seriously, I can’t even. Woke up late, as usual. My alarm? Yeah, it decided to take a day off. So, I’m sprinting down Abay Street, dodging potholes like I’m in some crazy video game. Qulsary’s streets are like a maze, I swear. First stop? The local café on Kairan Street. I needed my caffeine fix. Walk in, and boom! The barista, this dude named Askar, spills coffee all over the counter. I’m like, “Bro, you good?” He just laughs it off. I mean, who doesn’t love a little chaos with their morning brew? Got my cappuccino, but it was more foam than coffee. Whatever, I’m not picky. Then, I hit the market on Kyzylorda Street. Man, the vibe there is electric. Vendors shouting, kids running around, and the smell of fresh bread. I’m trying to haggle for some apples, and this old lady just stares me down. Like, lady, I’m not trying to steal your apples! Finally, I get a decent price, but she gives me this look like I just insulted her family. Next, I decide to take a stroll by the river. The Ural River is beautiful, especially when the sun hits it just right. I sit on a bench, just chillin’, when this group of kids starts playing soccer nearby. They’re kicking the ball around, laughing, and I’m just vibing. But then, one of them kicks the ball straight at me! I’m like, “Dude, watch it!” They all crack up. Kids, man. After that, I head over to the park near the city center. It’s packed. Families, couples, and this one guy playing the accordion. I’m not even kidding. He’s belting out some old-school tunes, and I can’t help but dance a little. I mean, who doesn’t love a spontaneous dance party? But then, outta nowhere, it starts to rain. Like, heavy rain. I’m soaked in seconds. I run for cover under a tree, and guess who I bump into? My ex. Great. Just what I needed. We chat for a bit, and it’s awkward as hell. I’m trying to keep it cool, but inside, I’m like, “Why, universe, why?” Finally, I make my way back home, drenched and exhausted. I pass by the old cinema on Kairan Street. It’s been there forever, and I can’t help but smile. I used to sneak in there as a kid. Good times. So, yeah, today was a rollercoaster. From coffee spills to awkward ex encounters, Qulsary never fails to surprise me. I love this city, even when it drives me nuts. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
