OMG, what a day! So, I’m a babysitter, right? And today was just... wow. I mean, Shyngyrlau is usually chill, but today? Nah, not at all. First off, I got to the kids’ place on Kabanbai Batyr Street. It’s a nice area, but the traffic? Ugh, don’t even get me started. I was late. Like, super late. The kids were already bouncing off the walls when I walked in. I swear, they were like little tornadoes. So, I’m trying to calm them down, right? And then, boom! The youngest, little Aisulu, spills juice all over the carpet. I’m like, “Seriously?!” Juice everywhere! I’m scrubbing it like a madwoman. I mean, who knew grape juice could stain like that? Then, we decide to go outside. Fresh air, right? We hit up the park on Abay Street. It’s usually a blast, but today? It was packed! Kids everywhere! I’m dodging strollers and parents like I’m in some kind of obstacle course. And then, outta nowhere, this kid runs into me. I’m like, “Dude, watch it!” But he just laughs and runs off. Kids, man. We finally find a spot to chill. I’m trying to get them to play tag, but they’re more interested in climbing trees. I’m like, “Guys, please don’t fall!” But they’re all about that tree life. I’m half-expecting a rescue mission. And then, the craziest thing happens. A stray dog shows up. It’s this scruffy little thing, and the kids are all over it. I’m thinking, “Great, now I’m babysitting a dog too?” But the dog is super chill. It just lays down and lets the kids pet it. I’m like, “Okay, this is kinda cute.” But then, Aisulu decides she wants to take the dog home. I’m like, “No way, girl! We can’t just take a dog!” But she’s crying, and I’m feeling all the feels. So, I’m trying to negotiate with her. “How about we just play with it for a bit?” After a while, the dog gets bored and wanders off. Thank goodness! I’m not ready for a dog-parenting gig. So, we head back home, and I’m thinking, “Finally, some peace.” But nope! The kids decide they wanna bake cookies. I’m like, “Sure, why not?” But I forgot how messy baking can be. Flour everywhere! It’s like a snowstorm in the kitchen. And then, the oven timer goes off. I’m trying to get the cookies out, but they’re stuck! I’m pulling and tugging, and the kids are laughing at me. I’m like, “This is not funny!” But deep down, I’m cracking up too. Finally, we get the cookies out, and they’re a bit burnt. Oops! But the kids don’t care. They’re just happy to eat them. I’m like, “Well, at least they’re edible.” By the end of the day, I’m exhausted. I drop the kids off, and I’m thinking, “What a wild ride.” Shyngyrlau can be a bit much sometimes, but days like this? They make it all worth it. I head home, and I’m just laughing to myself. I mean, who knew babysitting could be this intense? But hey, that’s life in Shyngyrlau for ya!
