Man, what a day in Schaan! Like, seriously, I can’t even. Woke up thinking it’d be chill, ya know? Just another day in this tiny town. But nah, life had other plans. First off, I hit up the bakery on Landstrasse. Best pastries ever! I’m talkin’ about those buttery croissants that just melt in your mouth. But guess what? They were out! Like, how do you run out of croissants? I was ready to throw a fit. I mean, c’mon, it’s a bakery! So, I grabbed a coffee instead. The barista, bless her heart, was super nice. But then, she spilled it all over the counter. I was like, “Girl, I feel ya!” But inside, I was dying. I needed that caffeine fix. Then I decided to stroll down to the Schaaner Riet. It’s this beautiful park, right? I thought I’d chill by the pond, maybe feed some ducks. But nooo, the ducks were on strike or something. They just stared at me like I was the weird one. I mean, I’m just trying to be nice here! After that, I wandered over to the Hauptstrasse. It’s the main street, full of shops and stuff. I was just window shopping, ya know? Then I bumped into my buddy, Max. He’s always got some wild story. Today, he told me he saw a guy in a chicken suit dancing in front of the post office. Like, what? Only in Schaan, right? We laughed about it, but then I got a text. My mom was like, “You need to come home now!” I was like, “Chill, Mom! I’m 30!” But she’s relentless. So, I said bye to Max and headed back. On my way, I passed by the old church on Kirchstrasse. It’s so pretty, but it gives me the creeps sometimes. Like, what if ghosts are chillin’ there? I mean, I’m not trying to get haunted today, ya know? Finally, I got home, and my mom was waiting with dinner. She made my fave—spaghetti! But then she dropped the whole pot on the floor. I was like, “Seriously?!” We both just stood there, staring at the mess. It was hilarious and infuriating at the same time. So, we ended up ordering pizza. Classic move, right? And while we waited, we watched some old Swiss comedy show. I was laughing so hard, I almost forgot about the crazy day. By the time I hit the bed, I was exhausted. Schaan really knows how to throw a curveball. But hey, that’s life, right? Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of chaos. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
