Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I’m a furrier, right? Yeah, I know, kinda old-school, but hey, it’s my jam. So, I wake up in Kupiskis, this little gem of a town in Lithuania. You know, the one with the lake and all those cute little streets? Yeah, that one. First off, I’m running late. Like, super late. I spill coffee on my favorite fur coat. Ugh! Not the best start. I rush outta my place on Gedimino Street, dodging pigeons like I’m in some kinda video game. Seriously, those birds are relentless. I get to my shop on Maironio Street, and guess what? My delivery of pelts is late. Like, come on! I need those for a custom order. I’m already sweating bullets. I mean, who knew fur could be so dramatic? Then, outta nowhere, my buddy Tomas shows up. He’s all like, “Dude, you gotta check this out!” He drags me to the Kupiskis market. I’m thinking, “I don’t have time for this!” But he insists. So, we go. The market is buzzing. People everywhere, selling everything from fresh veggies to handmade crafts. I spot some old lady selling these amazing knitted hats. I’m like, “Tomas, we need to get one of those for winter!” He rolls his eyes, but I’m serious. It’s cold in Kupiskis, man! Suddenly, I see this guy trying to haggle over a fish. Like, dude, it’s a fish! Just buy it! But no, he’s going back and forth with the seller. I’m standing there, laughing my head off. It’s like a scene from a comedy show. After the market madness, I finally get back to my shop. And guess what? The pelts are there! Thank you, universe! I’m so pumped, I start working on this gorgeous mink coat. I’m in my zone, you know? But then, my phone buzzes. It’s a text from a client. “I changed my mind. I don’t want the coat.” WHAT?! I’m fuming. Like, how do you just change your mind? I’m ready to throw my tools across the room. But then, I take a breath. I step outside for a sec. The sun is setting over Lake Kupiskis, and it’s beautiful. I mean, it’s moments like this that make it all worth it, right? I chill for a bit, watching the ducks paddle around. Then, I head back in, and guess what? My mood shifts. I start thinking about how I can turn this around. I decide to make a new design. Something fresh, something that’ll blow their socks off. I’m sketching away when my neighbor, an old lady named Ona, pops in. She’s always got the best gossip. “Did you hear about the new café on Vytauto Street?” she says. I’m like, “No, but I’m in!” So, we end up chatting about the café, and I’m feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. It’s funny how a little convo can change your whole vibe. Finally, I wrap up for the day. I’m exhausted but happy. I stroll down to the lake, just soaking it all in. Kupiskis, with its quirky streets and friendly faces, you’ve got my heart. And that’s my day, folks. Full of ups and downs, but hey, that’s life, right? Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
