Man, what a day! Seriously, I’m still reeling from all the craziness that went down in Ukmerge. Like, who knew this little town could pack such a punch? So, I woke up late, as usual. My alarm? Yeah, it decided to take a day off. I jumped outta bed, threw on whatever I could find, and bolted out the door. First stop? The bakery on Vilniaus Street. Gotta get my fix of those buttery croissants. But guess what? They were out! I mean, c’mon! It’s like they knew I was coming. I settled for a dry roll. Ugh. Then I hit the streets. Ukmerge is kinda small, but it’s got this charm, ya know? The cobblestone roads, the old buildings, and the vibe. I strolled down Gedimino Street, feeling all artsy and stuff. I was thinking about my next animation project. Maybe something about the history of Ukmerge? Like, did you know it used to be a major trade route? Crazy, right? Anyway, I was lost in thought when I bumped into this dude. Total stranger. He was like, “Hey, watch where you’re going!” I was like, “Dude, chill! It’s not like I’m trying to start a fight.” But he just kept going. I mean, really? It’s a small town, bro. Let’s not make enemies over a little bump. So, I kept walking, trying to shake off the bad vibes. I passed by the Ukmerge Museum. It’s small but packed with cool stuff. I thought about popping in, but I was on a mission. I needed inspiration! Then, outta nowhere, it started to rain. Like, heavy rain. I ducked into a café on Maironio Street. I ordered a coffee and just sat there, watching the rain. It was kinda peaceful, honestly. I pulled out my sketchbook and started doodling. I drew the café, the people, the rain. It was like magic. But then, this group of kids came in, all loud and rowdy. They were playing some game, and one of them knocked over my coffee! I was like, “Noooo!” Coffee everywhere! I was so mad, but then I saw their faces. They were just having fun. I couldn’t stay mad. I laughed it off. After that, I decided to take a walk by the river. The Neris River is beautiful, especially when the sun peeks through the clouds. I sat on a bench, just soaking it all in. I thought about how Ukmerge has this mix of old and new. The old buildings, the new cafés. It’s like a canvas waiting for my animation magic. But then, I got a text from my buddy. He was like, “Let’s meet at the park!” I was like, “Sure, why not?” So, I headed over to the park near the Ukmerge Castle ruins. It’s a chill spot. We hung out, talked about life, and I vented about my day. He just laughed and said, “Dude, that’s Ukmerge for ya!” As the sun started to set, everything felt right. The sky was painted in pinks and oranges. I felt inspired again. I pulled out my sketchbook and started drawing the castle ruins. It was like the day had turned around. So, yeah, Ukmerge is wild. It’s got its ups and downs, but that’s what makes it real. I left the park feeling happy, even after all the chaos. I guess that’s life, huh? Full of surprises. I can’t wait to animate this day. It’s gonna be epic!
