Man, what a day! I woke up in Rodange, and I swear, it felt like the universe was throwing curveballs at me left and right. First off, I’m an animation artist, right? So, I’m all about that creative flow. But today? Nah, it was chaos. So, I’m chillin’ at my place on Rue de la Libération, sippin’ my coffee, trying to get inspired. But all I can hear is this loud construction noise. Like, c’mon! Can’t a guy catch a break? I peek out the window, and there’s a bunch of dudes tearing up the street. I mean, I get it, Rodange needs to look good, but not at 7 AM, man! Anyway, I finally decide to head out. I’m walking down Avenue de la Gare, and I’m just vibin’. The sun’s shining, and I’m thinking, “Today’s gonna be epic!” But then, BAM! I trip over a loose cobblestone. Seriously? Who’s in charge of this place? I’m pretty sure I saw a squirrel laughing at me. I shake it off and keep going. I hit up this little café on Rue de l’Église. Best croissants ever! I’m munching away, and this old lady starts chatting me up. She’s telling me about how Rodange used to be this quiet little town. I’m like, “Lady, it’s still kinda quiet, just with more construction!” She didn’t find that funny. Oops. After my breakfast, I decide to hit the park, Parc de la Ville. It’s a nice spot, you know? Trees, benches, and all that jazz. I plop down, sketchbook in hand, ready to draw some inspiration. But then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by, chasing a dog. The dog’s got a stick, and the kid’s yelling like it’s the Olympics. I can’t help but laugh. Kids are wild, man. But then, the kid trips. Oof! He goes down hard. I’m like, “Oh no, not again!” But he pops up, grinning like he just won a gold medal. That’s the spirit! I’m feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. Then, I get this wild idea. I’m gonna animate that kid and his dog! I whip out my phone, start recording. But just as I’m about to hit “go,” my phone dies. Are you kidding me? I’m in Rodange, and my phone’s like, “Nah, I’m out.” So, I’m wandering around, trying to find a charger. I end up on Rue de la Liberté, and it’s packed! There’s a market going on. Fresh fruits, veggies, and all that good stuff. I’m like, “Okay, maybe I can find a charger here.” But nope, just more chaos. I’m about to give up when I spot this little shop. It’s got all these quirky gadgets. I walk in, and the guy behind the counter is super chill. I ask him about chargers, and he’s like, “Yeah, I got one, but it’s gonna cost ya.” I’m like, “Dude, I’m just trying to survive here!” Finally, I get the charger, and I’m feeling like a champ. I head back to the park, plug in my phone, and start sketching again. But then, it starts to rain. Seriously? Rodange, what’s your deal today? I find shelter under a tree, and I’m just sitting there, watching the rain. It’s kinda peaceful, you know? I start doodling raindrops and trees, and suddenly, I’m hit with this wave of inspiration. I’m like, “This is it! This is what I needed!” After the rain stops, I head back home, soaked but happy. I can’t believe how much happened in one day. Rodange, you crazy little town, you’ve got my heart. I’m exhausted, but I can’t wait to animate all this madness. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but that’s life, right? Just gotta roll with it.
