OMG, what a day! So, I’m a babysitter, right? And today was just... wow. I mean, Cahul (md) is usually chill, but today? Nah, not at all. First off, I woke up late. Like, super late. My alarm? Totally didn’t go off. I was supposed to be at the kids’ place on Strada 31 August by 9 AM. I rolled outta bed at 9:15. Panic mode activated! I threw on whatever I could find. My hair? A total mess. But whatever, right? Kids don’t care about that. So, I sprinted down Strada Mihai Eminescu, dodging potholes like I’m in some kind of obstacle course. Seriously, Cahul needs to fix those roads. I almost twisted my ankle! Finally, I made it to the house, panting like I just ran a marathon. The kids were already bouncing off the walls. Great. Just great. We started with breakfast. I whipped up some scrambled eggs. But then, the youngest, little Andrei, decided he wanted pancakes. Like, dude, I’m not a short-order cook! I was like, “Bro, we don’t have time!” But he gave me those puppy eyes. Ugh, fine! Pancakes it is. While I was flipping pancakes, I heard a loud crash. I turned around, and there’s Maria, the older sister, holding a broken vase. I was like, “What the heck, Maria?!” She just shrugged. Kids, am I right? I had to clean that up while the pancakes were burning. After breakfast, we headed out to the park on Strada Calea Bălți. It’s a nice spot, but today it was packed. I mean, who knew so many people would be out? I was trying to keep an eye on both kids, but they were like little tornadoes. Andrei ran straight for the swings, while Maria decided to climb a tree. I was like, “Girl, you’re gonna fall!” But she just laughed. Then, outta nowhere, it started to rain. Like, seriously? I looked up, and it was sunny just a minute ago! We dashed for cover under a tree, but it was too late. We were soaked. I was so mad! I mean, come on, Cahul! Can’t you just pick a weather vibe and stick with it? After the rain, we decided to grab some ice cream at that little shop on Strada Vasile Alecsandri. I thought, “Okay, this’ll cheer them up.” But no! The line was insane! I was standing there, dripping wet, listening to Andrei whine about how he wanted chocolate. I was like, “Dude, we’re getting ice cream, chill!” Finally, we got our ice cream. Andrei got his chocolate, and Maria went for strawberry. I took a bite of mine, and it was heavenly. But then, Andrei dropped his cone. I swear, I could feel my heart break for him. I had to buy him another one. Ugh, my wallet! After the ice cream drama, we headed back home. I was exhausted. But then, the kids wanted to play hide and seek. I was like, “Seriously? I just wanna sit down!” But they were so cute, I couldn’t say no. I ended up hiding behind the couch, and they couldn’t find me for ages. I was just about to fall asleep when they finally found me. They were so excited! It made me forget how tired I was. As the day wrapped up, I was reflecting on all the craziness. Cahul is wild sometimes, but I love it. The streets, the parks, the people – it’s all part of the adventure. So, yeah, that was my day. Full of chaos, laughter, and a bit of rain. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Well, maybe a day without broken vases and dropped ice cream. But you know what I mean!
