Man, what a day! Seriously, Codru is wild. I woke up thinking it’d be chill, just another day translating Russian Sign Language. But nah, life had other plans. First off, I hit the streets of Codru, right? I’m walking down Strada Muncii, and it’s like a scene from a movie. People everywhere, cars honking, and that one stray dog just chilling like it owns the place. Classic Codru vibes. So, I get to this café on Strada 31 August. I’m craving a coffee, right? I order, and the barista—bless her heart—totally messes up my order. I mean, how do you mix up a cappuccino with a black coffee? I’m like, “Dude, I wanted foam, not a heart attack in a cup!” But whatever, I just laugh it off. Then, I get a call. It’s my client, and they’re in a panic. They need me to translate for this event at the Codru Cultural Center. Like, right now. I’m thinking, “Great, just what I needed.” So I sprint down Strada Călărași, dodging people like I’m in an obstacle course. When I finally get there, the place is packed. I mean, Codru knows how to throw a party! But the vibe is off. People are arguing, and I’m like, “What’s going on?” Turns out, there’s a miscommunication about the schedule. Classic! I’m trying to calm everyone down, but it’s chaos. I’m signing like a madman, trying to keep up. My hands are flying everywhere. I’m sweating bullets. And then, out of nowhere, this guy stands up and starts yelling. I’m thinking, “Dude, chill! We’re all in this together!” But he’s not having it. Finally, I manage to get everyone to chill. I’m like, “Look, we’re all here to have a good time, right?” And boom, the mood shifts. People start laughing, and I’m feeling like a rockstar. After the event, I’m walking back, and I pass by the park on Strada Tineretului. It’s beautiful, man. Kids are playing, couples are chilling. I stop for a sec, just soaking it all in. Codru has this charm, you know? But then, I see this old lady struggling with her groceries. I rush over, and I’m like, “Need a hand?” She looks at me like I’m a superhero or something. I help her carry the bags, and she starts telling me stories about Codru back in the day. It’s heartwarming, but also kinda sad. By the time I get home, I’m exhausted. My brain is fried, but I can’t stop smiling. Codru, man. It’s a rollercoaster. One minute you’re stressed, the next you’re helping an old lady and hearing her life stories. So yeah, that was my day. Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of chaos. Just another day in Codru, I guess!
