Man, what a day! I swear, Soldanesti really knows how to throw a curveball. So, I woke up this morning, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit up Strada Mihai Eminescu for my morning coffee. You know, the little café there? Best espresso in town, hands down. But guess what? They ran outta beans! Like, how do you run outta coffee beans? I was ready to throw a fit. I mean, c’mon, it’s Soldanesti! Get your act together! So, I settled for some weird herbal tea. Ugh. Not the same vibe, ya know? I’m sitting there, sipping this green sludge, and I see this old dude, probably in his 80s, trying to parallel park on Strada 31 August. He’s going back and forth, like, 10 times. I’m just watching, laughing my ass off. Finally, he gets it right, and I’m like, “Dude, you’re a legend!” After that, I decided to hit the market. You know, the one near the park? It’s always buzzing with life. I’m strolling through, checking out the fresh veggies and stuff. And then, BAM! I bump into my buddy, Ion. He’s got this huge grin, and I’m like, “What’s up, man?” Turns out, he just got a new job at the local bakery. I’m like, “Dude, bring me some bread!” But then, outta nowhere, this stray dog runs past us, chasing a pigeon. It’s like a scene from a movie. The pigeon’s flapping, the dog’s barking, and I’m just standing there, cracking up. Ion’s all serious, like, “You think the dog will catch it?” I’m like, “Bro, it’s Soldanesti. Anything can happen!” So, I finally get my hands on some fresh tomatoes. They’re juicy, red, and perfect. I’m feeling good, right? But then, I see this lady on Strada Tineretului, yelling at her kid. Like, full-on shouting. I’m thinking, “Chill, lady! It’s just a toy!” But she’s not having it. I mean, we all have our moments, but c’mon! By now, I’m ready to head home. But wait! I remember I promised my sister I’d pick up some flowers from the market. So, I rush back, and guess what? They’re sold out! I’m like, “Seriously? It’s just flowers!” I’m fuming, but then I see this little girl selling wildflowers. They’re not fancy, but they’re cute. I buy a bunch, and she gives me this huge smile. Instant mood lift! On my way back, I take a detour through the park. It’s packed with people. Kids are playing, couples are strolling, and I’m just soaking it all in. I sit on a bench, munching on some bread I snagged from Ion. Life’s good, right? But then, outta nowhere, it starts to rain. Like, heavy rain. I’m sprinting for cover, laughing like a maniac. I duck into this little shop on Strada Vasile Alecsandri. It’s cozy, and the owner’s super chill. We chat about the weather, and I’m like, “Only in Soldanesti, man!” Finally, the rain stops, and I head home. I’m exhausted but happy. I think about the day—coffee drama, dog chases, wildflowers, and rain. It’s crazy how much can happen in one day. Soldanesti, you wild! So, yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but that’s life, right? Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
