Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I’m a potter, right? Just chillin’ in Vadul-lui-Voda, minding my own business. This place is wild, like, you got the Dniester River on one side, and the hills on the other. Beautiful, but today? Ugh. So, I wake up, and it’s already hot as hell. I’m like, “Great, another scorcher.” I grab my tools, head out to my workshop on Strada Muncii. You know, the one with the funky murals? Yeah, that one. I’m all set to throw some clay, right? But then, bam! My neighbor’s dog, that little rascal, decides to chase a cat right into my workshop. I’m like, “Dude, not today!” I’m trying to save my pots, but nope! One goes flying, and it shatters. I’m standing there, mouth agape, like, “Really?!” I mean, it was a good piece too. I was gonna sell it at the market on Strada Principala. Ugh, the irony! So, I clean up the mess, and I’m fuming. I decide to take a break, grab a coffee at that cute little café by the park. You know, the one with the outdoor seating? I sit down, and guess what? I spill my coffee all over my shirt. Just my luck, right? I’m sitting there, looking like a total mess, and the barista’s trying not to laugh. I’m like, “Yeah, I’m a potter, not a barista. Clearly.” But then, something amazing happens. I’m sitting there, sulking, when this old lady comes up to me. She’s got this huge smile, and she’s like, “You’re the potter, right? I love your work!” I’m like, “Wait, what? You know me?” Turns out, she’s been buying my stuff for years. She tells me about her favorite piece, and I’m all warm and fuzzy inside. After that, I’m feeling a bit better. I head back to my workshop, and I’m like, “Let’s do this!” I start working on a new vase, and it’s coming out great. I’m in the zone, you know? Then, outta nowhere, my buddy Ion shows up. He’s always got some crazy story. Today, he’s telling me about this fishing trip he took on the Dniester. He caught a fish so big, it could’ve been a whale! I’m rolling my eyes, but it’s hilarious. Then, we decide to take a break and walk down to the river. The view is stunning, man. The sun’s setting, and the water’s all sparkly. We’re just chilling, and I’m thinking, “This is what life’s about.” But then, I see a bunch of kids jumping off the rocks into the river. I’m like, “Y’all are nuts!” But also, kinda jealous. I wanna jump too! So, I’m standing there, contemplating life, when I hear this loud crash. I turn around, and it’s a bunch of teenagers playing soccer. They kicked the ball right into a guy’s car parked on Strada Tineretului. The guy comes out, all red-faced, and starts yelling. I’m cracking up, but also thinking, “Man, that’s gonna be a long night for them.” Finally, I head back home, exhausted but happy. I’ve had a rollercoaster of a day. I’m thinking about how Vadul-lui-Voda is full of surprises. One minute you’re mad, the next you’re laughing. It’s chaotic, but it’s my chaos. So, yeah, that was my day. Just another day in Vadul-lui-Voda, where the river flows, the dogs chase cats, and life throws you curveballs. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
