Yo, lemme tell ya about my day in Frankhuis. Man, it was a wild ride! I woke up late, like, super late. My alarm? Totally ignored it. So, I’m rushin’ outta bed, hair’s a mess, and I’m like, “Great start, right?” First stop, the café on Hoofdstraat. Best coffee in town, no cap. I grab a cappuccino, and the barista, she’s all smiles. I’m like, “Girl, you’re the real MVP.” But then, I spill it all over my new kicks. Ugh! I was fuming. Like, why does this always happen to me? So, I’m walkin’ down the street, tryin’ to shake it off. I hit up the market on Marktplein. It’s buzzing, people everywhere. I love the vibe! Fresh flowers, fruits, and all that jazz. I spot this cute little stall with homemade stroopwafels. I’m like, “Yasss!” I buy one, and it’s warm and gooey. Heaven in my mouth, fam! But then, outta nowhere, this pigeon swoops down and tries to steal my snack! I’m flailing my arms like a madman. “Get away, you feathered thief!” People are laughin’ at me. Whatever, I’m a legend now. Next, I decide to stroll down to the park by the Singel. It’s chill, ya know? I plop down on a bench, just vibin’. I see this couple arguing. Like, full-on shouting. I’m thinkin’, “Dude, not the place!” But then, they start laughing. What a plot twist! Love is weird, man. Suddenly, I hear this loud music. I look over, and there’s a street performer on the corner of Korte Kerkstraat. He’s playin’ the guitar like a rockstar. I’m feelin’ it! I toss him a couple of euros. He winks at me. I’m like, “Am I famous now?” But then, my phone buzzes. It’s my friend, asking if I wanna hit up the club later. I’m like, “Heck yeah!” But then I remember, I promised my mom I’d help her with dinner. Ugh, adulting is hard! I head back home, and on the way, I pass by the old church on Kerkstraat. It’s beautiful, man. I stop to take a pic. I’m all about that Instagram life. But then, I trip over a cobblestone. Classic me, right? Finally, I get home, and my mom’s like, “You’re late!” I’m like, “Chill, Mom! Frankhuis was calling!” We laugh, and I help her chop veggies. It’s kinda nice, ya know? So, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but that’s life in Frankhuis. Can’t wait for tomorrow!
