Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in Heeze, right? The sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I’m in my little webcam biz, and I’m thinking, “Let’s make some magic happen.” I grab my coffee from that cute café on De Laan. You know the one? The barista there is always super friendly. I swear, she remembers my order. Anyway, I’m feeling pumped, ready to take on the world. So, I’m setting up my gear on the corner of Heeze’s Markt. It’s a nice spot, lots of foot traffic. I’m thinking, “This is gonna be epic.” But then, outta nowhere, this dude on a bike zooms past and knocks over my tripod! Like, seriously?! I’m standing there, mouth agape, tripod on the ground, and I’m like, “Dude, what’s your problem?” He just yells, “Sorry!” and keeps pedaling. Ugh, people! After that little fiasco, I’m trying to get my vibe back. I decide to take a stroll down the Heeze’s Kerkstraat. It’s a pretty street, all quaint and stuff. I’m walking, minding my own biz, when I spot this adorable dog. I mean, it’s like a fluffy cloud on four legs. I’m all “Aww, look at that cutie!” But then, the owner’s like, “Don’t touch him!” Chill, lady, I wasn’t gonna steal your dog! So, I keep walking, trying to shake off the weirdness. I hit up the Heeze’s park, you know, the one with the pond? I sit down on a bench, just trying to breathe. But then, this kid runs by, and I swear he’s got a water balloon. Next thing I know, SPLASH! I’m soaked! I’m like, “What is this, a water park?” The kid just laughs and runs off. I can’t even be mad. It’s kinda funny, right? Now I’m wet and slightly annoyed, but whatever. I decide to head back to my spot. I’m setting up again, and guess what? My laptop decides to update. Like, NOW? I’m sitting there, watching that little loading wheel spin, and I’m thinking, “This is the universe telling me to chill.” Finally, I get everything sorted. I’m live, and people are tuning in. I’m feeling good, right? But then, my neighbor’s dog starts barking like crazy. I’m trying to focus, but it’s like a concert of chaos. I’m half-laughing, half-yelling at the dog. “Dude, chill out!” But then, out of nowhere, I get a donation! Like, a big one! I’m jumping up and down, totally losing it. I’m like, “Thank you, thank you!” It’s wild. That made my day. As the sun starts to set, I’m packing up. I walk back through Heeze, feeling all the feels. The streets are lit up, and it’s beautiful. I pass by the Heeze’s church, and it’s all lit up. I stop for a sec, just taking it in. What a rollercoaster, man. From tripod disasters to water balloons, to donations. Heeze, you’ve got my heart. I’m exhausted but happy. Can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow!
