Man, what a day! I swear, Arendal just threw me a curveball. I’m a stuntman, right? So, I’m used to crazy. But today? Pffft, it was next level. Started off chillin’ at the harbor. You know, that beautiful spot by the water? The sun was shining, and I was like, “Today’s gonna be a breeze.” Ha! Little did I know. I grabbed a coffee from that cute little café on Strandgata. Best coffee in town, no joke. But then, boom! My phone buzzes. “Hey, we need you for a stunt at the old wharf!” Ugh, the old wharf. It’s like a horror movie set. But hey, work is work, right? So, I’m racing down to the wharf, dodging tourists and their selfie sticks. Seriously, people, it’s not that deep! I get there, and the crew’s all hyped. They’re like, “You ready for this?” I’m like, “Ready as I’ll ever be!” But inside, I’m sweating bullets. The wharf is all rickety and stuff. I mean, it’s been there since forever. I can practically hear it creaking like an old man. So, I’m set to jump off this platform into the water. Easy peasy, right? Wrong! The wind picks up, and I’m like, “Great, just what I need.” But whatever, I’m not backing down. I climb up, heart racing, and then—whoosh! I jump. And let me tell you, the water was freezing! I come up gasping, and there’s this seagull just staring at me like I’m the biggest idiot. I’m flailing around, trying to swim back, and I’m thinking, “This is how I die. Drowned by a seagull.” Finally, I get out, and the crew’s laughing. I’m laughing too, but it’s that nervous laugh, you know? Then, outta nowhere, my buddy Lars shows up. He’s like, “Dude, you good?” I’m like, “Yeah, just living my best life!” But inside, I’m still shivering. After that, we head to the pub on Torvet. You know the one? It’s got the best fish and chips. I’m starving! We sit down, and I’m just about to dig in when this guy at the next table spills his drink all over me. I’m soaked again! I’m like, “Really, dude? Is this a thing now?” But then, the bartender, she’s super cool. She gives me a free drink for the trouble. I’m like, “Okay, maybe today’s not so bad.” We’re all joking around, and I’m feeling good again. Then, outta nowhere, the fire alarm goes off! Everyone’s freaking out, and I’m just sitting there, like, “This is my life.” We all spill out onto the street, and it’s chaos. I see the fire truck zoom by on Kystveien, lights flashing. Finally, they figure out it was a false alarm. Phew! But by then, I’m just done. I’m like, “I need a nap.” So, I head home, and as I’m walking down the street, I see this beautiful sunset over the fjord. It’s like the universe is saying, “Chill, you survived.” I get home, kick off my shoes, and just crash on the couch. What a day, man. Arendal, you wild! I love this place, but sometimes, it’s like it’s trying to kill me. But hey, that’s life, right? Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
