Yo, lemme tell ya about my day in Ensjo. Man, what a rollercoaster! So, I wake up, right? Sun’s blazin’ through my window. I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit up Storgata. It’s like the main drag, ya know? Coffee shops everywhere. I grab my usual – a double shot of espresso. I need that caffeine fix. But guess what? The barista spills it all over me! Like, seriously? I’m now a walking coffee stain. Great start, huh? So, I’m fuming, but whatever. I stroll down to the waterfront. The view’s sick, man. The fjord sparkles like diamonds. I’m feelin’ a bit better. Then, BAM! A seagull swoops down and snatches my sandwich right outta my hand! I’m like, “Dude, that’s my lunch!” But the bird’s just like, “Nah, bro, it’s mine now.” I’m ready to throw hands with a bird. After that, I decide to hit up the Ensjo Market. It’s this cool spot with all these local vendors. I’m wanderin’ around, checkin’ out the fresh produce and handmade stuff. I spot this rad vintage jacket. I’m talkin’ 80s vibes, neon colors. I’m like, “I NEED this!” But the seller’s like, “Nah, it’s too expensive.” Ugh, why’s everything so pricey? Then, I bump into my buddy Lars. He’s always down for a laugh. We start talkin’ about the old days, you know? Like, remember when we used to skate down by the old docks? Good times. But then he tells me he’s moving to Oslo. I’m like, “Dude, why?!” He’s all about the job opps. I get it, but still, it sucks. So, I’m feelin’ a mix of happy and bummed. I head over to the Ensjo Park to chill. It’s a nice spot, lots of green, people hangin’ out. I plop down on a bench, just tryin’ to soak it all in. But then, this kid runs by, and his ball hits me right in the face! I’m like, “What the heck, kid?!” He just laughs and runs off. Kids these days, man. As the sun starts settin’, I decide to walk back home. I take a detour through the side streets. They’re all cobblestone and charming. I pass by the old church on Kirkeveien. It’s beautiful, but I can’t help but think about how many times I’ve been dragged there for boring family stuff. Finally, I get home, and I’m exhausted. I flop on my couch, still smellin’ like coffee and bird. I think about the day. It was wild, emotional, and kinda ridiculous. But that’s life in Ensjo, right? Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of chaos. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Well, maybe a seagull-free lunch. But hey, tomorrow’s a new day. Who knows what’ll happen next?
