OMG, what a day! So, I’m a stylist, right? And today was just... wow. I woke up in my tiny apartment on Storgata, and I swear, I could hear the rain tapping on my window like it was trying to tell me something. Like, “Girl, stay in bed!” But nah, I had clients to see. First stop, this cute little café on Torggata. I needed my caffeine fix. I ordered a cappuccino, and the barista was like, “You want oat milk?” I was like, “Dude, I’m not a hipster!” But I said yes anyway. It was actually delish. I mean, who knew oat milk could taste so good? Then, I dashed over to my first client. She lives on Løvenstadveien, and let me tell ya, her hair was a hot mess. I mean, girl, what were you thinking? I had to work some serious magic. I was snipping away, and she was just chatting about her life. Apparently, she’s dating some guy from Oslo. I was like, “Girl, you do you, but Oslo? Really?” Anyway, while I’m in the zone, I get a text. It’s my buddy, Lars. He’s like, “Meet me at the park!” I’m like, “Dude, I’m working!” But then I thought, “Why not?” So, I wrapped up the hair drama and headed to the park. Strommen Park is so pretty, especially when the sun peeks out. I get there, and Lars is sitting on a bench, looking all chill. We start talking about life, and he’s like, “You should totally try that new place on Bråtenveien.” I’m like, “What’s it called?” He’s like, “I dunno, something fancy.” Classic Lars. But then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring! Like, seriously, rain just comes crashing down. We’re both soaked in seconds. I’m laughing, he’s laughing, and I’m like, “This is the worst!” But honestly, it was kinda fun. We ran to the nearest bus stop on Råholtveien, looking like drowned rats. Finally, the rain stops, and we decide to hit that new place. It’s called “Kafé Kysten” or something. Super trendy, but I’m not about that life. I order a burger, and it’s like the size of my head. I’m trying to eat it, and it’s just falling apart. I’m like, “Why do they make these things so big?” Lars is cracking up, and I’m just trying to keep it together. After that, I had to rush back to my last client. She lives near the Strommen Shopping Center, and I’m like, “I can’t be late!” I get there, and she’s already in a panic. Her hair is a disaster, and I’m like, “Chill, I got this.” But inside, I’m like, “Why do people wait until the last minute?” I worked my magic again, and she was thrilled. I mean, who doesn’t love a good hair day? As I’m packing up, I get a call from my mom. She’s like, “Did you hear about the new store opening on Storgata?” I’m like, “Mom, I’m busy!” But she just keeps talking. Classic mom, right? Finally, I wrap up my day, and I’m walking home, just thinking about how crazy it was. I mean, Strommen is such a vibe. The streets, the people, the unexpected rain. It’s like a rollercoaster. I love it, but man, I need a nap. So, yeah, that was my day. Full of surprises, laughter, and a whole lotta hair. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
