Man, what a day! I swear, Braniewo really knows how to throw a curveball. So, I’m out here, right? Just another day as a car instructor, chillin’ in my little corner of this quirky town. Braniewo’s got its charm, but today? Pffft, it was a rollercoaster. First off, I’m driving down ul. Gdańska, and I’m already late for my first lesson. Like, come on! I’m supposed to be the responsible one, but here I am, stuck behind some old dude who’s going 20 in a 50 zone. Seriously, bro? I’m about to lose it. I mean, I love the guy, but c’mon! I’m not trying to get a ticket for “excessive patience.” Finally, I get to the meeting spot, right by the Braniewo Cathedral. It’s a beautiful place, but I’m too frazzled to appreciate it. My student, let’s call him “Jakub,” is already there, looking like he’s about to pass out. Poor kid. He’s nervous as hell. I get it, I really do. But I’m like, “Dude, chill! It’s just driving, not brain surgery!” So we hop in the car, and I’m trying to keep it light. I’m cracking jokes, telling him about the time I almost crashed into a tree on ul. Słowiańska. He laughs, but I can see the fear in his eyes. I mean, who wouldn’t be scared? I’m a walking disaster sometimes. We start driving, and I’m giving him the usual spiel. “Check your mirrors, signal, don’t hit pedestrians!” You know, the basics. But then, outta nowhere, this cat runs across the road! I swear, it was like a scene from a movie. Jakub slams the brakes, and I’m like, “Dude, chill! It’s just a cat!” But he’s freaking out, and I’m trying not to laugh. After that, we hit ul. 1 Maja, and I’m thinking, “Okay, we’re good now.” But nope! A bus decides to cut us off. I’m yelling, “What are you doing, man? You can’t just play Frogger with a bus!” Jakub’s eyes are wide, and I’m just trying to keep it together. Finally, we pull over for a break by the Braniewo River. I’m like, “Look at this view, man! This is why we drive!” But Jakub’s still shaking. I tell him, “You know what? You survived a cat and a bus. You’re basically a pro now!” He cracks a smile, and I feel a little better. Then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring. I mean, like, torrential downpour. We’re stuck in the car, and I’m just laughing. “Welcome to Braniewo, where the weather changes faster than my mood!” Jakub’s looking at me like I’m nuts, but hey, I’m just trying to lighten the mood. After the rain, we hit the road again. I’m feeling good, and Jakub’s finally getting the hang of it. We cruise down ul. Kościuszki, and I’m like, “See? You’re doing it!” But then, he gets a little too confident and almost runs a red light. I’m like, “Whoa, buddy! This isn’t a video game!” By the end of the lesson, I’m exhausted but happy. Jakub actually did great! We park back at the cathedral, and I’m giving him a pep talk. “You’re ready for the road, man! Just remember, don’t be a hero!” As I’m driving home, I can’t help but think about how wild the day was. Braniewo, with its charming streets and unexpected surprises, really knows how to keep you on your toes. I’m just a car instructor, but man, I wouldn’t trade this chaos for anything. So yeah, that was my day. Just another crazy, emotional ride in Braniewo. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
