Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in my tiny flat on ul. Słowiańska, right? The sun’s blasting through my window like it’s trying to roast me alive. I’m like, “Chill, sun! I’m not ready for this.” But whatever, I’m a texture artist, gotta get my grind on. First stop, the local café on ul. 1 Maja. Best coffee in Dabrowa-Bialostocka, no cap. I order my usual – a double espresso, extra shot. I need that fuel, ya know? But the barista, bless her heart, spills half of it. I’m like, “Dude, I need that caffeine!” But she just laughs it off. I’m trying to be mad, but her smile is contagious. Ugh, fine, I’ll let it slide. So, I’m walking down ul. Białostocka, and I see this street performer. He’s playing the accordion like he’s in a movie or something. I stop, totally vibing. I throw him a couple of złotys, and he gives me this huge grin. I’m thinking, “Man, this is what life’s about.” But then, outta nowhere, this pigeon swoops down and lands on my shoulder. Like, what the heck?! I freak out, flailing my arms like a maniac. The dude with the accordion is cracking up. I’m just standing there, looking like a total fool. After that, I head to the park by ul. Leśna. It’s my go-to spot for inspiration. I plop down on a bench, pull out my sketchbook, and start doodling textures. I’m in my zone, right? But then, this kid runs by, kicks a soccer ball, and it smacks me right in the face. I’m seeing stars, man! I’m like, “What’s next? A meteor?” The kid just yells, “Sorry!” and keeps running. I can’t even be mad. Kids are wild. Later, I decide to hit up the local art supply store on ul. Wyszyńskiego. I’m looking for some new brushes. I walk in, and it’s like heaven. Paint everywhere! But then, I overhear this lady complaining about the prices. I’m like, “Lady, it’s art! You gotta pay for quality!” But she’s just going on and on. I’m rolling my eyes, trying to focus on my shopping. Finally, I grab my stuff and head to the counter. The cashier is super chill, and we start chatting about the best spots to paint in Dabrowa. I’m like, “You know the old mill by ul. Młynarska? It’s a vibe!” By the time I leave, I’m feeling pumped. I decide to take a stroll down ul. Krótka. It’s a quiet street, perfect for clearing my head. But then, I see this old man trying to fix his bike. He’s struggling, and I can’t just walk by. I’m like, “Need a hand, dude?” He looks at me like I’m a superhero or something. I help him out, and he’s so grateful. He even offers me a slice of his homemade pie. I’m like, “Heck yes!” Best pie ever, no joke. As the sun starts to set, I’m walking back home, feeling all kinds of emotions. Happy, tired, a bit annoyed, but mostly just grateful. Dabrowa-Bialostocka is wild, man. It’s got its quirks, but it’s home. I can’t wait to get back to my textures and bring all this energy into my work. So yeah, that was my day. Just another rollercoaster in this crazy little city. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
