Wow, what a day in Kietrz! Seriously, I’m still reeling. So, I woke up late, as usual. My alarm? Yeah, it totally betrayed me. I jumped outta bed, threw on whatever I could find. You know, the usual “I’m a hot mess” look. First stop? The bakery on ul. Główna. Best place for fresh bread, like, ever. I’m talking about those warm rolls that make you forget your problems. But guess what? They were out of my fave poppy seed rolls! Ugh! I was ready to throw a fit. I mean, how can you run out of those? It’s like running out of air! So, I grabbed a croissant instead. Not the same, but whatever. I strolled down ul. Słowiańska, feeling a bit better. The sun was shining, and the vibe was chill. Kietrz has this small-town charm, ya know? People were out, kids playing, old folks chatting. It’s like a scene from a movie. Then, bam! I bumped into my old buddy, Marek. We hadn’t seen each other in ages. He’s still the same, cracking jokes and all. We decided to grab a coffee at that little café on ul. Kościuszki. I swear, the barista there is a magician. My cappuccino was like a hug in a mug. But then, the drama hit. Marek starts telling me about his new job. Apparently, he’s working at some tech startup. I’m like, “Dude, you? In tech?” I mean, he can barely work a microwave! But hey, good for him. I was happy for him, but also a bit jealous. After coffee, I thought I’d take a stroll by the park near ul. 1 Maja. It’s a nice spot, but today? It was packed! Families everywhere, kids screaming, dogs running wild. I just wanted a moment of peace. But nope! I ended up sitting on a bench next to this lady who wouldn’t stop talking about her cat. Like, I get it, Fluffy is adorable, but come on! Then, outta nowhere, it started to rain. I mean, seriously? Kietrz, you’re kidding me, right? I dashed for cover under a tree, looking like a drenched rat. And of course, that’s when I saw the cutest dog ever. This little corgi was just prancing around, totally unfazed by the rain. I was like, “Why can’t I be that carefree?” Finally, the rain stopped, and I decided to head home. But on my way back, I took a detour through ul. Wrocławska. Big mistake! There was a street fair happening. Food stalls everywhere! I couldn’t resist. I ended up with a plate of pierogi that was bigger than my face. I mean, who needs dinner after that? But then, I saw it. A guy juggling flaming torches. I was like, “This is Kietrz?!” I had to stop and watch. It was wild! He dropped one, and I thought, “Well, that’s it. We’re all gonna die.” But he caught it! The crowd went wild. I was cheering like I was at a rock concert. By the time I got home, I was exhausted but happy. Kietrz, you crazy little town, you never fail to surprise me. I flopped on my couch, thinking about the day. It was a rollercoaster, for sure. I laughed, I got annoyed, I ate way too much. But that’s life, right? Just gotta roll with it. So, here I am, typing this out, still buzzing from the day. Kietrz, you’re a wild ride, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
