Man, what a day! Seriously, I’m still buzzing from all the craziness in Korczyna. Like, where do I even start? So, I woke up late. Classic me, right? Rushed outta bed, threw on whatever I could find. I mean, who needs matching socks anyway? Not me! I grabbed a quick coffee from that little café on ul. Główna. You know the one? The barista there is a legend. Always knows my order. I swear, he’s got a sixth sense or something. Anyway, I was on my way to meet some kids at the local school. You know, being a Typhlopedagogue and all. It’s all about helping visually impaired kids. But today? Oh boy, today was a rollercoaster. First, I took a stroll down ul. Słowackiego. Beautiful street, right? Trees everywhere, and the sun was shining. I was feeling good. But then, BAM! A pigeon poops on my shoulder. Like, really? Thanks, nature. I’m just trying to enjoy my day here! So, I get to the school, and the kids are buzzing. They’re all hyped up about this new tech we’re using. It’s like magic for them. I mean, who wouldn’t be excited? But then, one kid, let’s call him Kuba, he’s got this wild idea. He wants to race with the new talking canes. I’m like, “Dude, chill! We’re not in a Fast & Furious movie!” But he’s already off, zooming down the hallway. I’m running after him, trying to keep up. I’m not exactly Usain Bolt, you know? And then, outta nowhere, he trips over his own feet. I’m thinking, “Oh no, this is gonna be bad.” But he just laughs it off. That kid’s got guts! I was so relieved. After that, we had this awesome workshop. The kids were making these cool tactile maps of Korczyna. They were so into it! I mean, they were feeling every bump and groove. It was like watching little artists at work. I was so proud! But then, the fire alarm goes off. Like, seriously? In the middle of our masterpiece? We all had to evacuate. I’m standing outside, and it’s freezing. I’m thinking, “This better not be a drill!” But it was. Just some kid pulling a prank. Classic Korczyna, right? Once we got back inside, I was ready to wrap things up. But then, I noticed a group of kids huddled around a phone. They were watching some viral video. I’m like, “What’s so funny?” Turns out, it was a cat video. I mean, who doesn’t love a good cat video? We all ended up laughing. Finally, I headed out, feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. I walked down ul. 3 Maja, just soaking it all in. The vibe in Korczyna is something else. It’s like a small town with a big heart. But then, I saw this street performer. He was playing the accordion, and it was beautiful. I stopped to listen, and for a moment, everything felt perfect. But then, I realized I had no cash. Ugh! I felt so bad. I wanted to support him, but I was broke. So, I just clapped and cheered. He smiled, and it made my day. I mean, that’s what Korczyna is all about, right? Community, laughter, and a bit of chaos. By the time I got home, I was exhausted but happy. I flopped on my couch, thinking about all the wild stuff that happened. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Korczyna, you’ve got my heart!
