Wow, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I woke up in my little room on ul. Słowiańska, right? The sun was shining, birds were chirping, and I thought, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I had a client at the café on ul. Główna. I’m all dressed up in my kimono, looking fly, and I get there, and guess what? The café is closed! Like, what even? I’m standing there, looking like a lost tourist, and I’m like, “Did I miss the memo?” Turns out, they had a plumbing issue. Ugh, so annoying! I was ready to sip some matcha and vibe, but nooo. So, I’m wandering around, trying to find another spot. I hit up ul. Wrzesińska, and there’s this cute little bakery. I’m like, “Okay, let’s grab a pastry.” I order this amazing pączek, and it’s like heaven in my mouth. But then, I spill powdered sugar all over my kimono! I’m freaking out, thinking, “Great, now I look like a walking dessert.” Then, I get a call from my friend Kasia. She’s like, “Girl, you won’t believe what happened!” Apparently, she was at the market on ul. Piastowska, and someone tried to sell her a fake jade bracelet. I’m laughing so hard, picturing her face. Like, who even falls for that? But then I’m like, “Wait, is it really fake?” After that, I finally meet my client at a different café. He’s this super chill dude, but he’s late. I’m sitting there, checking my watch, thinking, “Dude, I’ve got places to be!” When he finally shows up, he’s all flustered, saying he got stuck in traffic on ul. Poznańska. I’m like, “Bro, it’s a Tuesday! What’s the deal?” We start chatting, and he’s actually really cool. We talk about Krzyż’s history, how it used to be a big deal back in the day. I mean, this place has been around since the 13th century! Crazy, right? I’m getting all into it, and then he drops this bomb: he’s moving to Warsaw next week. I’m like, “No way! You can’t leave me hanging like this!” After our chat, I’m feeling all kinds of emotions. Happy, sad, confused. I decide to take a stroll by the river. The Warta River is so pretty, especially at sunset. I sit on a bench, just soaking it all in. But then, out of nowhere, this group of kids runs by, and one of them accidentally kicks a soccer ball right at me! I’m dodging like I’m in the Olympics. I finally head back home, and I’m just exhausted. I flop onto my bed, thinking about how wild today was. I mean, from spilled sugar to fake jewelry and almost getting hit by a soccer ball, what a rollercoaster! So, yeah, Krzyż-Wielkopolski, you’ve got my heart, but you also drive me nuts sometimes. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
