Man, what a day! I swear, being a tractor driver in Kutno is like riding a rollercoaster, but without the safety bar. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m thinkin’, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. First off, I hit the road on 29 Listopada. You know, that street that’s always packed? Yeah, that one. I’m just cruisin’, mindin’ my own business, when BAM! Some dude in a tiny car cuts me off. Like, bro, you really think you can outmaneuver a tractor? I honked so loud, I think I scared a pigeon off a power line. Anyway, I finally get to the field near the Kutno train station. It’s a nice spot, but man, the mud was like quicksand. I’m talkin’ about sinking up to my knees. I’m out there, tryin’ to plow, and I’m thinkin’, “This is why I don’t wear my good boots.” Then, outta nowhere, it starts to rain. Not just a drizzle, but a full-on downpour. I’m sittin’ in my tractor, soaked to the bone, and I’m like, “Great, just great.” I can’t even see the road on Wyszyńskiego Street. I’m just hopin’ I don’t get stuck. But wait, it gets better. I’m tryin’ to get back to the main road, and I see this old lady, bless her heart, struggling with her groceries. So, I stop. I’m like, “Need a lift, babcia?” She looks at me like I’m some kinda hero. I mean, I’m just a dude in a tractor, but hey, I’ll take the compliment. I help her out, and she starts tellin’ me about the good ol’ days in Kutno. She’s ramblin’ on about the old market square and how it used to be bustling. I’m nodding, but inside I’m thinkin’, “Lady, I gotta get back to work!” But she’s sweet, so I let her talk. Finally, I drop her off at her place on Sienkiewicza Street. She gives me a cookie. A freakin’ cookie! I’m like, “This is the best payment ever.” I munch on it while I’m back in the tractor, and it’s like heaven. But then, I hit a pothole. Ugh! My coffee spills everywhere. I’m cursing like a sailor. “Why, Kutno, why?” I swear, the roads here are like a minefield. I’m dodging holes like I’m in some kinda video game. After that, I finally get to the field again. I’m plowing, and I see this kid on a bike. He’s zooming around like he owns the place. I’m thinkin’, “Dude, you’re gonna get yourself killed!” But he’s having the time of his life. I can’t help but smile. Kids, man. They see joy in everything. As the day winds down, I’m driving back through the city. Kutno’s got this vibe, you know? The old buildings, the little cafes, and the people just livin’ their lives. I pass by the park on 3 Maja, and I see families chillin’, kids playin’. It’s a good reminder that life’s not all about work. I finally park my tractor, and I’m exhausted. But I’m also kinda happy. I mean, yeah, it was a crazy day, but it was mine. Kutno, with all its quirks and surprises, is home. And even with the potholes and the rain, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So, here’s to another wild day in Kutno. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
